I know, I know...but I liked his fire and his hard play.

AB's in a better place now.

A place where the #1 job is just handed to him. A place where his on again...off again style of play is accepted, just because there is little talent around him. And he's happy.

Don't begrudge him his happiness.

I agree....his talent was great....but, the rest of his baggage killed us.

Antonio is, curiously enough, wearing No. 81 in SF, he reminds me of Owens every time I catch a 49er broadcast.

Regarding his fire and hard play, we've already got the predecessor to his uniform number in San Fran providing that to us here. Outside of a couple of cases of alligator arms, he's provided very good downfield blocking and is behaving himself just fine. I'll take our guy over Bryant in the "fiery receiver" role any day of the week.
