How can you say we won a trade after ONE (1) game? Because he returned a fumble?! Way too excited after one game. A good game but just one game. Let's see this stuff for 6-7 straight.

I wouldn't say Dallas won the trade but rather winning. Both are very young with plenty of time to prove themselves.

Joseph is slightly younger and seems to be getting better, but I think the coaches want to put a certain attitude on this team. They probably feel they can't risk having a Joseph on this team with his possible distractions. Joseph was pickinig up unnecessary preseasons and I feel penalties and sloppy play was a point of emphasis by the coaches.

Last Sunday, we came out much sharper and with much less penalties than usual. Seems like there is real accountability on the team now.

Don't see anything in here about it, or in the box score. How is Bossman doing in Miami?

He came in the league at 20 years old, was inexperienced like KJ. The reason I think we won is because of what he has upstairs, and the fact his attitude fits in here.

I know a little more about the player...so far, so good. But I'm pretty confident we won the trade. The writing is on the wall.

You don’t win a trade after just one game. We’re in the lead right now, but some of you can’t stop living in the moment. It needs to play out for a while.

I get your point but I’ll be honest that’s one more play than I thought we’d get from Noah. I sure as hell didn’t expect him to score a touchdown.

Well, I'd say the downpour contributed to the bad offensive play to some extent. Wet balls are hard to throw and to hold on to.
That’s certainly a huge part. Not playing in pre season was also a part of it. We’ve had a top scoring offense most of the last few years and we have probably the most talent we’ve had in years, this year
If the oline stays healthy the offense will be fine but MM doesn’t take silly risks so I don’t expect the run to be abandoned as much

Lool, you just knew this was gonna happen. Noah was in the right place at the right time and now we’re proclaiming the trade has been won.

Joseph played 0 defensive snaps, and I assume that would have been the same for Igbinoghene had it not been a blowout.

It's a tie at this point.

Did anyone guess Igbinoghene would score the first TD of the season? I heard his interview and thought to myself, hey, this guy fits in here. On the other hand, Joseph fits better in Miami. Then the Iggy scores and I already know he's going to make an impact on special teams. And I think we won the trade for KJ.

Also, I saw a little something in Juanyeh Thomas last year and one year later he seems to be showing up big time.

I'm telling you, this team is scary good. I still think the Giants are better than they looked against us. But we dominated all facets of the game.

Who's ready for a Super Bowl run?
So you slam me. But someone says the Offense still need to work, and you give them approval. A little hypocritical.

Defense is world class, but the offense still needs work. I watched the 49ers game and I don't know if we can beat them. They looked outstanding also. We will find out on a few weeks.

Yeah we won't know where we stand until then, but our win is flat out, point blank more impressive. We beat a supposedly up and coming team who actually won a playoff game last year.

They played a Steelers team absent from the playoffs with no known offense in a couple years. I do believe Pittsburgh will be a better team as the year goes on, but we dominated a superior opponent.

The most impressive thing to me is the 9ers QB. This year is the key to who he is imo. I wasn't ready to give him any legitimacy until I saw what he did this year. He looks damn good now.

The thing that makes me feel good about the trade is this. I think the Cowboys loved Igninoghene in the draft. Hopefully it's a guy that Quinn loves. It will make me feel better.

I’m not ready to concede anything to the 49ers after one week. Let’s take it one game at a time. The playoffs are a long way away and regardless of what happens in a couple weeks, win or lose, does not determine anything for the playoffs. I think we can beat them but we have to play good. I hope we win for home field advantage in the playoffs. But other than that it’s a game in the regular season and it’s a game we can win. I’m not sold on Purdy yet. I feel he’s a product of the system and if Quinn figures out the system then we’ll stop their offense. I also agree with another poster that the Steelers were overrated coming into the season.
