I think Hackett of Seattle is a UFA this off-season,

if I remember correctly.

IMO, I think this is the type of "mid-level" FA we should consider this off-season at the WR position.

Hackett has the ability to get deep, and could be a replacement for Glenn. (I think this is Glenn's final season.)

Hackett and Crayton would complement TO nicely.

Hackett's awesome but he can't stay healthy. I'd love taking the gamble, though.

It's a good idea but I really think the Boys need a playmaker type WR opposite TO. The offense isn't nearly as potent without TO so we need that playmaker to command double teams in coverage.

Chad Johnson has worn out his welcome in Cincy and I think he would complement TO well.

Also, Javon Walker wants out of Denver. He would be another one that add another weapon.

Another UFA is Bernard Berrian of the Bears. I think he would be better than Hackett but I'm sure the Bears will not let him go.

I'm not sure Hackett would be that much of an upgrade over Crayton.

We signed a "mid-level" FA wide receiver a couple weeks ago.

I think Hackett has the ability to get deep. They are probably in the same class as WR, but with a different skill set, IMO.

I think he's a sizeable upgrade over Crayton. I had Hackett on my fantasy teams and when he was healty, he was putting up #1 receiver type numbers game in and game out, and that's with or without Branch on the field.
