People want to blame the kicker, but the rest of the team typically gets anywhere from (90-100) plays to affect the outcome of the game and a kicker may get (2) maybe (3) to do something of use.
It would be like blaming Sam Hurd for his illegal touch of the ball as the reason for last game's loss when the previous accumulation of plays had alot more to do with the result.
