We have passed on several 30+ veterans. I like it. It's a long season and the younger we are the better we are twoards the end. Even though I hate T.O., if we brought him in, I would not say that he would be an older signing as he has the body and workout routine of a 24 year old.

Maybe the Cowboys are trying to make a plan where they obtain 20 draft picks, and get the best players around.

Getting younger is great, but you do that through transistion rather than aggresively cutting aging vets,, Cambell, Johnson, soon to be L.A.
If you have some promising youth at these posistions, than you can cut ties, but this was very aggressive in my opinion, and guys llike Crayton, arent ready to fill a void left by KJ, and Witten is a totally different player than Campbell. Im still scratching my head at the KJ cut, he was a chain mover, and the only posession type of our WR class.

Not too far fetched. As was mentioned earlier, Denver is shopping its two first round picks around the league. Next year's first and G. Ellis might be enough of a package to get them. Three first round picks and a second would be exciting.

I wonder who scored higher on the Wonderlick test, T.O. or Vince Evans.

I wonder if TO's and Vince Young's scores combined are greater than Vince Evans age...

Nice rationalizing, but we also have passed on younger talent as well.

Cambell was not retained because he no longer performed at a high level. He would have wanted more money than we were willing to pay for him. If you watch the games, and take off the rose colored lenses, he isn't a dominant blocker anymore.

Johnson puzzles me a bit as well. He was still productive. But by all accounts, it wasn't the $1million bonus, but rather, it was the fact that he was going to gripe about getting more money. He still may very well be back next year. He wants a pay raise that gets him upwards of $4mil a year probably, but I doubt he gets it.

Allen hasn't been cut yet, so I'm not sure why you are griping already.

FA isn't over yet. Look at last year, we signed a big time contributer in Aaron Glenn late April. There are still alot of players available on the FA market.

Tell me exactly who has been signed away from us, and if you would really have paid that much money for that player. Hutchinson? That was way too much loot for a guard. Bentley? Obviously he wanted to go home and play for Clevland.

TO is still a FA, lots of people want him...I'm impartial at this point.
We could still strike a deal with Javon Walker.
Eric Moulds will be available.

Calm down.

At this point, I wouldnt even rule out a highly aggressive attempt to move up in the draft to obtain Vince. With all the (reserved) cap at our disposal,, dont be so fast to dismiss this possibility as plan A.

Bledsoe's greatness will offset the loss of Keyshawn,Campbell and others.

Green Bay is not a good trading partner, they will want too much for a WR with a bad knee.
