Oh, come on. Someone was eventually going to say it.

I would like to see that, a rookie with speed and something to prove

By the way, did anyone know that you can edit your own thread titles by double clicking on your thread?

For a limited time, I'm sure.

Well, I dont feel as starting our rookie Qb-Wr converted , Vs the Giants, and with the fact that he didnt practiced all pre-season.

He should play? maybe some snaps, but I would feel better with Crayton and Hurd out there first.

For the record, I LOVE Crayton.

He may be slow in molasses, but he has probably one of the best hands in the league. He'll almost always make that clutch catch for you.

You supressed that sentiment all this time?

Why do you think Stanback should start?

I would like to see him start to. That would put him miles ahead of where I thought he probably was.

LOL--I just started a thread about him being our secret weapon........although I do not believe he is quite ready to start but he could be involved in game changing trick plays.

He is not a QB now and is not going in the game to be a QB.

I say... give him a few plays a game. No harm in that.

I think he will change the dynamics of both our offense and opposing defenses.

He could run deep and stretch the field... who knows.. he might even catch a few

I know this thread was started with sarcasm in mind, but I would actually like to see Stanback get some PT. I wouldn't start him, but I would put him in the slot a few plays in the game. Nobody is going to be paying much attention to him, so he might catch the Giants by surprise. To be honest, I am not at all worried about Glenn an his injury, at least for this game. If the line is able to give Romo time, I believe Owens, Crayton, and Hurd are all talented enough to do damage. The defense also has to acount for Witten and Fasano, so I doubt the offense will experience any drop off.
