I think Wade and Jerry had an effect on the refs today

I didn't see any tickey tack calls against us today that I'm used to seeing. I'm glad Jerry finally got fed up with it and said something. For a long time calls and non-calls have gone against us. I think the refs have been put on notice.

I think this; about 2 or 3 years ago, the steelers got 3 games called against them

they got 3 letters from the front nfl office saying so.
the next year, year they went to the superbowl, the steelers got calls more in their favor

so maybe now with refs blowing calls against us 2 weeks in a row, maybe its our turn this year

Not only did they go to the Super Bowl, they WON the Super Bowl by the refs handing them the game.

Seattle should have won that game.

That game was so freaking rigged it was embarrassing.

Anybody above the age of 10 knows Seattle should have won.

Lets see what type of calls we get next week in New York. We usually get screwed every year in the Meadowlands.

totally agree, that will be the key, to see how the calls from the refs go next week.

Please, let's stop pulling this BS out. The refs suck, but they didn't cost Seattle that game, and most of the calls people complain about were called correctly. Perhaps they could have called more on Pitt. but what they did call was pretty spot on (with one glaring exception). If there is a SB to complain about it's last years against AZ.

Our game against green bay was rigged. How can the refs be so incompetant and yet it favors the other team all game? The NFL just wanted to keep their season alive.

That holding on Deon was ticky tack.
and they missed a handful or so of holding calls on the Oakalnd Oline

I didnt see any change whatsoever in their bogus officiating. Roy Williams was clearly interfered with once, and arguably twice. Oakland has a terrible OL, and yet I dont recall a single holding call against them despite several plays where Gradkowski had plenty of times. They holding call on Deon Anderson was awful.

Please, you stop.

90% of the world who watched that game would say it was officiated poorly and was incredibly biased, and alot of people genuinely believe the game was fixed. It was a disgrace, as are most postseason games that involve the Steelers.

That year I was actually happy Seattle lost. That's the year they beat us in the playoffs. And they got their share of good calls during our game that year. To me it was even.

Well, all righty then! Sure.

The NFL is like WWF.

I hope not.

If Jerry can persuade them, Vegas sure as hell could.

Exactly, Green Bay playing Minnesota in the playoffs would be a ratings monster.

Dont think for one minute that the league office didnt give one thought to that.

I was glad Seattle lost also, especially considering we should have beat Seattle in the Wildcard round.

However, just because I want a team to lose doesnt mean I cant tell when one team is getting screwed over by the refs. Like another poster said, 90% of fans who watched that game think Seattle got screwed and should have won. Can they all be wrong??? Why would so many fans say that if the officiating was even for both teams???
