Falcons can easily beat us with Prescott, they have no chance with Romo at qb...whole coaching should be fired.
If they do beat us, it's not because of the offense. We win or lose that game based on whether we can mitigate the Ryan/Julio connection (like the did the first half of the 2015 game) or not. Even without Gregory/Hardy/D-Law and Ryan having tons of time, our defense was still able to take away a lot of the outside passes they liked to use in the first half. If it wasn't for stupid clock management at the end of the first half and Weedon being Weedon on the first drive of the 2nd half, the Falcon Offense would have never have gained momentum. That, and Freeman gouged us with over 100 yards (thanks Nick Hayden), but I don't see that happening again. And they were a hot team when we came across them early last year.
As far as their defense? I'd put them somewhere in the 3rd tier with the Bears. They aren't getting off the field until we tell them to.
Right now, at home, the only NFC team I would really not like to tangle with are the Commanders. They have a better defense and more passing weapons than the Falcons. They've also seen us twice this year, so they have tape on what worked or didn't. Thank goodness they are more than likely out of the playoffs.
From the AFC, it's the Patriots and the Chiefs.
The Patriots have the best coaching, best QB and smartest scheming (OFF/DEF). Their defense is nameless like ours, but they are like a slab of clay and can be molded to create a custom scheme to take away opposing team's strengths week after week. They're not like the Seahawks. The Pats defense reinvents itself each week and with two weeks off before the SB, they are going to come out and play purpose-built defense catered to your strengths.
KC has, IMO, one of the best defenses in the league (in someways, better than Minny) and a methodical offense that crawls down the field and plays field position. They win by dumbing the game down and forcing you to open up on their opportunistic defense.
