80% of this team has been 8-8 for the past 3 years. Dez, Demarco, Fred, Tyron, Martin, etc. etc. etc.

We're 10-4 with 2 games to go.

Witten wants to win, we all know Tony wants to win.

I think the taste of playoff "blood" is going around, and I think we soundly win the next 2 games purely off of desire. I think you're going to see some of these players find another gear for playing at that next level.

I think as long as the Cowboys stayed focused on the game at hand as they have and not get caught peeking down the road they will be fine. Cowboys know where they want to go but to get there you deal with the here and now

I think this is the most motivational thread I've read in a while. This Cowboys team is starting to build a swarm of intensity to make it to the playoffs. They have been the metronome of mediocrity for well over a decade, and they are all tired of it. They have demonstrated to themselves that can finish, they can thrive in the midst of adversity, they've beaten last years Super Bowl champs, who had the momentum early in the game. They might have more "want to" than any other playoff contending team.

Thats not what I meant...though I poorly worded it.

~80% of this team, all they have known is 8-8. Very few remain from when we went 13-3, for example. Most dont know a winning season or playing after week 16.

Nope, Eagles lose this week. All their focus is on OUR game, they are going on the road, on a short week, and playing a division rival after playing the two most physical teams in the NFC, us and the Seahawks. They are going to get ambushed.

the mold of this team isnt a loser/average mentality. they've proven it so many times this year. our losses were because the quarterback was banged up, or out.

I would love for you to be correct but I can't even get excited. All 3 of their phases are pretty poorous including the QB. The skins can only muter up a solid performance for us. Plus, the iggles losing on Saturday would make everything far too easy. I'm telling you. Last week. Division opponent. Everything on the line.
