With owens gone now romo will not have to force him the ball every single play. No more blowing up in the locker rooms.

We have probly the deepest RB depth in the NFL. Any of our running backs could start on most nfl teams.

We have the best TE in the league with a solid backup

Roy11 is in his prime , yeah he had a bad season last year. That was cuz romo was hurt and they basically had no time to gel.

There are zero problems on offense.

The defense also made a good move cutting roy38. He cant cover anyone.
If scandrick moves to FS that will help big time. Newman, Jenkins will be the 1-2 corner.

Plus the draft cann help to get a LB, WR etc

I don't anyone questions the talent on the roster, it's the execution and discipline that needs correcting. Also, we can't have the injuries we had last year.

We're like 1 WR injury away from a complete disaster, if Roy goes down and history would suggest it will happen then we are truly screwed

as for no problem on offense, Garrett is a problem and a pretty big one at that

i had a dream about the cowboys about a month ago;

this year will be a terrible year, but the following year the cowboys will go to the superbowl, aka like ravens did with their new qb and atlanta did with a new qb

i think the cowboys will get a real good top player in the draft in 2010, plus one in the 2nd and 3rd round, plus this year will be fair with another decent draft in april

then with no salary cap possibly in 2010 jerry jones will spend money after team leaders surface this year in the locker room, then jerry can go get a top player like they did in the 90s like when the cowboys got charles haley and deion
but you have to have the chemistry and team basically built first, then you can go get a T O or Haley or Deion, but team first must be built and leaders must be here first

I don't know if it will be better in term of record. But one thing I know, there won't be too much drama to this team. Every player will perk up. One more cancer to be gone and team will be devoid of me first players. Yes, I am talking about Greg Freaking Ellis. I am so sick that guy. Heck I am more pissed about him on the team than TO many a times.

At least TO has been all-pro. What the heck Greg done to whine every freaking year.

Anyway, coming back to the point, I do expect better effort from the team. They might not be as dominant if healthy, but definetly will be tougher IMO.

I think that with Owens gone we will have a more balanced offense with MORE options. Getting Felix Jones back from IR will be huge IMO. Now if we can just keep our O-Line healthy we should be fine.

Not a doubt in my mind we will be better in 2009 than we were in 2008.

Maybe we can start spreading out all those targets to guys who have a better than 50% success rate.

The low key approach is what i am loving so far.

Greg Ellis is the next one that needs to be exterminated.

Agree on Ellis: if T.O. was a cancer, then Ellis is leukemia....he needs to go tomorrow if possible. Same with Barbie Carpenter. I tell you one thing about next year NOBODY is talking about: the Oline: if they show up and play together and avoid injuries: 10-12 win season probable. If not.....well, get ready for 7-9 wins and more chaos.
