These guys on offense and a bunch of new faces (players/coaches) on defense are reason for optimism.

Of course it could go to crap, but I'm gonna be cautiously optimistic unless proven otherwise. If I can't manage that I don't see the point.

If this team can stay somewhat healthy for the course of the season, than they have the ability and roster to be contenders.
Not having Martin for week 1, while a disappointment, he isnt injured and out for the season, just 1 game, so I look at the bright side that he will be back and this team dodged the injury bug during pre season.
Even with a rusty Dak early, when this team fields the actual starters on game day, its a roster that has to be taken seriously.

That is what Nate Newton said on Special Edition for this week. They came out of TC healthy as to no big or long term injuries. And that is big.
