I think we're making a mistake moving Bland

No I know he is LISTED as 6 feet tall but having seen him alongside Diggs and Gilmore I question the accuracy of that. He looks a lot more than two inches shorter to my eye. I know J-Lew is only 5'9" which is why he is best in the slot.
We lost a couple last year, late season. Makes me a little nervous.

Go watch his celebration with Malik Hooker after his pick 6 against the G-men and you will notice how much shorter he looks than Hooker. Hooker is listed at 6'2" and he looks considerably taller by more than just a couple of inches.

If this is the actual plan, I say we leave him where he's excelled at. Let Izzy or someone else man that position, and let Bland stay where he's at. Please give your thoughts

If you were at practice and studying film of these guys like our coaches, I would be worried.

But I believe our coaches know who's best playing where.

So since we're sitting on the couch during the games, can you please pass me some napkins and that jar of salsa.

100% move Bland to outside. 100% don’t move some guy whose been playing a different position for the last 3 seasons!

The real adjustment will be scheme wise, they trusted 7 to guard the best WR with little to no help, the safeties specially Dono came down a lot to help with the run.

Will they do the same with Bland? I don't think so, they will help him a little bit more, at least until he shows he can handle the load, and I think he will, the kid has shown major stones since he came over.

Our defense was pretty good in the playoffs with Bland playing outside corner and Mukuamu in the slot.
Mukuamu is a good matchup against big slots, but not against the smaller quick guys. He doesn't have the change of direction.

My thought is your drunk again.

Bland is the future at outside corner anyway and Lewis is back and healthy and is good in the slot.

Pro Day measurement had him just over 6-0, Lewis 5-10 combine & pro day.

Don’t you think Bland has played well enough to be given a chance to play CB. A promotion if that is what one wants to call it.
Agreed, he definitely has earned a promotion to outside and then Lewis can take the slot, or whomever. He has proven to be quite the playmaker in a very short time, Im excited to see what he can do as the #2 CB. Plus he will have the added bonus of having Gilmore to learn from. Sounds good to me. Gilmore most likely is only going to be here this year only- so we will need someone opposite Diggs for next year. May as well see if Bland is that guy. I think he is.

I always refer back to the dolphins undefeated season...most people don't realize that one Mr Earl Morrall (sp?) actually was the QB for at least half the games that year.

Mr Griese gets the accolades.

Mr Bland will do fine

Go Cowboys!

Jordan Lewis has skins on the wall and is better in the slot than the other backups would be at outside. It’s about getting your best 3 corners on the field, but I feel certain the backups will start getting some snaps this week.

I agree...it could be mistake but for now, we'll have to wait and see what happens. Jourdan Lewis hasn't really been impressive in the slot compared to a few years ago and now coming back from a major injury. If he starts getting targeted a lot, they might have to change it up.

You can argue that the nickel/slot CB is more important than outside CB these days with how passing offenses attack.

I think we should just forfeit the rest of the season.

It's clear the loss of one CB is so insurmountable and causes such anxiety among the Fam base, the only prudent thing is to shut it down til next year.
