Guys... find a sports bar that has Sunday Ticket and watch the game there. It's not that hard; I live in California, have never owned DirecTV, and haven't missed a Cowboys game in years.

They are not showing these games because a certain player is from that area. If so, every other house across the nation would be seeing a different game....

You underestimate the drawing power of His Favreness. Southern Mississippi is a Saints secondary market, which means they have to watch the Saints. But when the Saints aren't playing, they get the Packers.

Here's a perfect example, from last year. Favre is a huge cash cow for the league. The Packers are second only to the Cowboys in sales of team merchandise.

I understand the fact about the regional game and our is Carolina, What I am trying to understand is why is Greenville the only city in SC, NC thats not getting the game.......I am gettin NFL Ticket but I wont have it until monday because I had cable and I had to switch and the guy wont be here to install it until Monday so im stuck for the week! lol

Call your local affiliate and find out why.

I know in my area, the local affiliate allows you to vote on which games you want to see. I'm sure you would know about this if it applied in your area.

Or maybe the station manager lost a bet or something.

I get the freakin' GB vs. Chicago game here in South Mississippi. All because Brett Favre is from here!

Because Brett went to USM, I'm stuck watching some meaningless game between two teams that I couldn't give a crap about.

Sheesh. Bad enough that the Saints push the Cowboys off the TV around here... we have to treat GB like they're a freaking home-town team.
