It really felt good to watch his performance today.
This is the NFL and every week could likely turn into a tough game. In my opinion, this week could have been a lot worse. The lions played great and as a team, we didn't. I think we "stole" one today. I love it.
The thing I really liked was that I felt confident that Romo would put this team in a position to win. On the last couple of drives, I was watching for completions instead of waiting for the worse to happen.
I havn't felt that confidence since Troy Aikman was a young man. I remember watching the early 90s Cowboys and feeling the confidence that we would convert every third down. Over the last few years (plus some), I haven't had that confidence. At times, I remember wishing that just wouldn't turn it over and our defense could possibly score. That is not the way to watch football.
Heck, at one point today, we were down by 6 points, running out of time, and no time outs left. We had to drive more than half of the field and it was fourth down.
I knew we would convert.
