Moss is headed to FA, so they will also need a WR as well as a QB. Not sure what we could get from the Pats to slide down to 17, but I could see that happen with the amount of picks they have in the draft.
Leaning that way myself, which could mean Peterson is there.SDogo;3860301 said:Tell me two weeks ago that Tyron Smith would be off the board before 9 and I would of called you crazy but now I'm thinking by the time the draft rolls around it will be common knowledge if you want Smith you better get him before 9.

I know you guys are saying the Cowboys are high on him and all the rumbles you're hearing is that he's " their guy " at #9, but I'm not buying the chatter. He might be their guy, but not at #9 and looking at the top 15, the only team that might pull the triger is Detroit, but I'm not sure he fits Jim Schwartz or Scott Linehan's profile of an O-lineman. Top 20 other than Detroit are the Patriots ( 17 ) " maybe", and Giants ( 19 ), with NY being the biggest threat.
I think Dallas can safely move down within the 14-19 area and still find him there, if the interest is real.

Solder is a big guy with quick feet. He is a bigger Doug Free IMO. I wouldn't be pissed if we took him, I just wouldn't want to do that at #9. The only offensive lineman I would take at #9 is Tyron Smith.

We got a top 10 pick.. Lets use it on a premium position please. If not do a trade down and pick up Carimi / Cam Jordan or someone like that.

He played RT at USC. You need to get over the fact that your promises that Free could not play LT swung and missed badly.CATCH17;3860443 said:I wouldn't even take Tyron Smith at 9 unless you told me he was our future Left Tackle and I like the guy.
