I wanna question the play calling

Can anybody else see,that the 2 tight end set is killing us,It really kills you when you send both tightends out in a pass pattern and the tackles are blocking inside leaving the d-end or linebacker a free pass to the backfield.
What in gods name happened to the team that I saw play the first quater in Jacksonville?I thought after the 10-0 lead we had in the Jacksonville game we were back in being a force,We actually looked good.
I say we use Hannam and Fasano in on passing downs and let the two receivers run the routes.Let's get back to some power football.
Quick slants and outs will do us some wanders,Lets use our tightends to block.I just can't beleive that with the unit we have that we are not doing more.
Garcia and McNabb were nothing before TO,Garcia came outta knowwhere.I really thin that if we use our weapons right,we will get alot of things done.I am not just blaiming Bledsoe,I think the playcalling has been absolutely terrible.Our schemeing has litttle to desired also.

I am on and can't see myself rooting for another team ,But fellows its been 11 years since we won a playoff game and thats not good.

2 TE set is not killing us poor executions is killing us. When the players are executing the game plan this offense has no problem moving the ball but when we start shooting ourselfs in the foot it creates a lot of problems.

I think you are misinterpereting the 2 TE set.

It actually gives us the option of having MORE blockers on the line of scrimmage on many plays.

You seem to think that using a 2 TE set means 2 TE's are running patterns every down, and that's not the case.

The idea is that we have options. Both TE's can stay in and block, both can run routes, or one can block and one can run a route.

It also does not mean that we don't have our 2 WR's running routes, they do that whether we are in a 2 TE set or not.

And it does not mean we can't run quick slants and outs - we can do that from a 2 TE set just the same as we can from a standard set.

You are falsely blaming the 2 TE offense for problems that it does not create.

The 2 TE set is a great offense. It adds more weapons on the feild at one time. The problem we have been having, is simply we had to build a wall around the QB and thus they had to stay in to block. With Romo in Monday night, you saw the TE releasing more and making some plays. The 2 TE set will match witten up on a lb one on one 90% of the time and we win that battle.

Biggest problem is we have turned the ball over to much. Other than that Dallas has been able to move the ball even aginst Philly we put up 320 yards of offense but we turned the ball over 5 times. For the season Dallas ranks 5th with an average of 356 yards per game however we also have turned the ball over 14 times and that has cost us

if you don't think mcnabb was nay good before t.o. then you obviuosly don't watch football.the 2 te set is not the problem.if the guys go out in routes then the ot is suppose to block the de. simple enough, but the fact colombo does'nt block the right guy is not the system, but the pl;ayers

It's always the coaching, play calling and game planning.

On more than one ocassion I've seen people blame play calling and game planning for players personal mistakes.

Face it guys, EVERY problem doesn't boil down to play calling and game planning and offensive or defensive schemes. Sometimes a guy just flat out misses a block - sometimes a guy just misreads a play - sometimes a guy just isn't as good as his opponent - sometimes a guy makes a mental mistake.

Obviously coaching and game planning and play calling and schemes are important, but lets be realistic. There is nothing wrong with the 2 TE set as long as the players execute properly.

For some reason,,coaching I suspect,,,we cannot handle blitzes. Someone ALWAYS gets through and quickly. The Oline looks confused at best, incompetent at worst. Colombo was a prime example of this. One-on-one he looked good against the Gmen....in space or when he had to process info, he was poor.
