Sign me up for the Vikings in round 1..we match up perfectly with these clowns..we will shutdown peterson and force Favre to beat us, which is not going to happen..

I'm with ya. The thought of the Dallas offense in a dome going on all cylinders really excites me.

you want to lose to Phily?

I don't care what happens next week to be honest with you..I don't really care what our road is in the playoffs..There is not any team that I am afraid of playing, nor is there a place I am afraid of playing in. I am that confident in this team. However, given a choice, I would want to play vs the Vikings. I personally feel Dallas and Philly are the 2 best teams in the conference, and I have said for weeks now, that the NFC will be represented by either Dallas or Philly.

your right, I would like to avoid playing Phily twice in a row, so that way 07 doesnt happen again.

yeah vikes are going to be one and done and I wish we were to match up against them.

The way I understand it, if the bears win tonight and then lose next week to the Gints and we beat philly, we are the #2 seed and we get a bye, And right now, the vikes are not looking like a team who wants to be the #2 seed.

If we lose to the Eagles, then beat the Vikings in Minnesota, would we then get Philly in Philly? If so, it would be better to beat them and then play them at home.

we would then go to NO

Another way to look at it is, we're probably gonna have to play Philly a third time no matter what--whether it's in round 1 or divisional or in the NFCC. If we beat them next week, we control where that 3rd meeting will take place.

I am all for getting the 2 seed..I just figured the Vikes would beat NYG next week, but hey, you are right, they just might lose that game too

if we beat philly next week..we are automatically playing them again the following week...if we lose next week, someone else might knock philly out before we meet them. The earliest we could meet them is in the NFCCG

I agree because Philly appears to be the biggest obstacle we face in getting to the Super Bowl.

Don't the Cardinals have to lose too though??

Again, it's not automatic we will play them the next week. It depends on what happens with the Vikes Giants game (pending tonight's game).

Well, I didn't think so. The scenario I saw earlier didn't mention it. I could be wrong. But all of that will be played out by the time we play, I think.

You're right, the earliest we could meet them after a loss would be in the NFCC, which would be our 3rd straight playoff road game.

OTOH, we could knock out the Eagles in round 1 in our stadium, then go to Minny and win, then HOST the NFCC after GB or Az takes care of the Saints.

Those two AND green bay would have to win next week at Arizona.

Well those things are looking more and more possible the longer this game goes.
