how come it's the Monday before TC begins and we've got no exciting Cowboy news? The closest I've seen is world that Jerry now talking directly to Glenn (and his agent?) to see if compromise can't be reached.

Any rumors of pending signings by our rookies? Geez, anything at all would help. I just can't stand anymore Favre news, Jason Taylor trade to Skins, Shockey rumored trade, etc. I want Cowboy news.

guys calm down, its just monday;

jerry jones has done a marvelous job resigning barber, newman, restructuring romo and davis, resigning hamlin, picking up zach thomas, having tank johnson ready this year, trading for adam jones, doing superbly in the draft,

now we do need to get terry glenn's deal either done or close the chapter, that most likely will be done by this sunday one way or the other;

its very important that the cowboys and jerry jones gets that injury waver signed, if glenn does get hurt, then that extra million we saved can go towards getting a veteran wr if need be, or using that money, along with the 8 million we have left over after signing our draft choices and practice squad. To possibly resign tank johnson or chris canty, and get chris simms in a trade for backup QB.

so, cool down, dont get near any windows, till either wednesday or early thursday morning, lots of cowboy news will be done by then, so just go watch some cowboy tapes, or look at your draft magazines, etc, and cool down, everything is going to be ok,

Isn't the internet age great? I remember when you had to wait for the nightly Cowboys report with Dale Hansen or waiting the next day for the Dallas Times Herald (which reminds me, their old jingle is why I can remember that defunct newspaper's phone number... 748-1414) to get any Cowboys news. I love it... now I even get updates to my cell phone :) HAHA anyway, just a thought.

I know how you feel... as a kid in Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Alabama (well I was too young to care too much in 'Bama) we got virtually zero coverage for the NFL period. It was a pretty lame existence. But we managed to get our fix in one way or another... if you love something bad enough, you will find a way. :D

I was thinking the same thang.
I remember scanning the news in Calif. and finding only LA Rams and San Diego news.
DCW kept me with enough Cowboy news to get me by, and I had the Dallas Morning News delivered to Cali, albeit 4 days late. It's nothing like it is today, a virtual paradise of news.:)

DCW is how I followed the Cowboys in the late 70's here in PA along with The Sporting News.
