Don't misread this. I'm not jut saying that I want the Giants to make the playoffs; I want both Dallas and New York to make it, and I want the Cowboys playing the Giants in the first playoff game. Why? Because I truly believe that the only chance this Cowboy team has of doing anything meaningful is to finally get over the psychological hurdle of beating the Ginats in a truly meaningful, do-or-die game. So I want that chance, as suicidal as that nay sound.

Well unless the Eagles, starting next week, decide to totally fall off the face of the Earth there is simply no way that both Dallas and the Giants are making the playoffs.

I understand that sentiment.

They will not beat us three times.

I don't think it's suicidal, they have been extremely lucky in the past few games against us, and I think we are a much better team with the exception of coaching.

I don't see this happening, but who knows.

Nah, I'd rather have the gnats, sheagles and redstinks finish with a losing record every year, than see them make the playoffs for some revenge game type scenario. Let them wallow in misery till the end of time...that's my motto. :)

I'm at the point of saying no to seeing the Giants again. We just have things go wrong when we play them. I mean every thing seems to break right for them against us right now. EVERYTHING. We miss a tackle and somehow it goes for 50 yards, and I've never seen a more insane play then the pick off of Witten's foot in the first game.

What I wonder about is if the team doesn't need a culture change. I just don't think its something that will happen unless we get a strong HC in here and Jerry takes a step back.

But that's the point. The Ginats seem to have this weird psychologicla spell over the Cowboys. I'm starting to believe that this Cowboys team has a fear of the Ginats - a fear that they can't beat them. The only way to break that is to eventually do it in a game that matters, like a playoff game.

Give it two or three years, and we will see truly where the Giants are. They are going to regret doing ALOT of things they wish they didn't....Ala signing Eli....

Kinda ironic, huh...only two years ago, it was the other way around. Up until the playoff game...

I'd rather see them at 8-8, that away they don't get access to a premium draft pick at the top of the draft.A 500 finish that puts you oh so close to the playoffs but far removed from drafting blue chip talent.

They haven't even beating us twice...we've beaten ourselves. Frustrating.

That playoff game MADE the ginats become what they are today. Dallas was their steppingstone and still ae today. Until this Cowboy team beats these Ginats they'll always be a mental doormat.

Nooooooo, cuz 8-8 keeps hope alive and the coaches their jobs and the fans still talking trash etc, etc.

I'd rather have total implosion year after year, decade after decade like an incurable disease. Eventually, the team just fails for soooooo long that they can't keep people in the stands and have to either change cities or better yet, change the name of the team itself!

For example...

Washington Deadskins become the Washington Warriors, Philly Eagles become the Philly Fighters and the NY Gnats become the Manahattan Marauders.

If you're gonna dream...dream big. :D
