Somewhere in this draft I want this guy as a potential 4th or 5thy Receiver and most importantly his Return skills on Special Teams. I love Darren Sproles and what he brings and if I can't have Sproles than give me Mike Thomas.

Mike Thomas, KR, Arizona
Mike Thomas can thank Darren Sproles for his soaring draft stock. The San Diego Chargers franchised Sproles this off-season, proving that there is a place in the NFL for a 5-foot-6 playmaker. At 5-7, Thomas is the Pac 10's all-time leading receiver. But he has propelled himself into the top half of this draft with his kick return skills – just as Sproles did initially with the Chargers. Thomas averaged 23.5 yards on kickoff returns in his career and 13 yards on punts. "Without it, I wouldn't be in a position I'm in," he said. "It will be key for my success."

You're not the only one. Bill Jones said he was talking to some coaches at Arizona (Jones is an OU guy and I'm guessing he semi-knows Mike Stoops) and they said even more than his quickness and speed, this guy is tough as nails.

He's one of my favourites in the draft. You'd think the Boys would target him too, cause he adds the return dimension and could be had later in the draft. Doesn't look like it though.

There's a BIG difference in a 5-7 RB that can also play ST, as opposed to a 5-7 WR....no thanks....been tried before, roster spots are too valueable.

Wes Welker - 5'9" 185
Steve Smith - 5'9" 185

According to NFL.com

Edit: University of Arizona's site and the NFL's combine site has Thomas listed as 5-8 195.

5-8 197 is correct, he was at the combine.

Yeah I just checked the combine site to double check the numbers. The snippit from the article said "5-7" so I wasn't sure.

He runs precise routes and has good quickness. However, I read a couple of reports that, despite his combine speed of ~4.4, he plays slower than that. Prior to the combine, a couple of analyst said that he won't threaten a defense vertically, and then he goes out and rips a fast time at the combine. I thought the analyst must be wrong until I read that he plays slower than his timed speed. I've never seen him play so take it with a grain of salt.
