I Want To Believe In Dak

While the Pickens move was needed and Ceedee being a top-3 receiver in the league, I cant even say this offense is better than 2021 when we had Amari, Ceedee, and Gallup. The Cowboys led the league in points scored AND yards.

1 and done against Jimmy G.

He should never be trusted or believed in

No policy has been violated but it should be noted all admin (e.g. staff) are participating members on this discussion board. In other words, they discuss things because they often care enough to do so, lol.

You may wish to max out the volume.

But I just can't. Dak has obviously flashed some top shelf ability at times in his career but going on 9 years in the league all he really has accomplished are some humiliating bad performances in the few playoff appearances he's made. I won't get into the horrible contract extension he received here.

The worst part is he's been injury prone and obviously regressing from an ability standpoint. In his last 8 games he's 3-5 with a 45 QBR. My point is he was never enough and he's not getting better. So is Pickens better than Cooks, yea of course he is but is he that much better that he makes that kind of difference in Dak's play? Is Tyler Booker better than Zach Martin? The point I'm making is that I don't think you can make enough good moves on the offensive side that drastically changes the one thing that ultimately determines the outcome of games and that's Dak himself. I obviously hope I am wrong but I don't think I am.

As a Tennessee fan Milton ain't it either, more upside than Rush yes but he's a Temu Dak.

Dak-ancer will no longer have excuses to be able to show what he has boasted so much, that his best game is yet to come, every year he says the same thing, I see Pickens trying to earn a million dollar contract, so I see 2 #1 WRs, a lot will depend on Dak-ancer for those two WRs to explode, but it is clear that Dak-ancer is very fragile both physically and mentally. I would be more excited to see Milton come in to play and see what he can do, more than what Dak-ancer can do, and this is very likely to happen.

It is very likely that Jerry is going to end up paying premium dollars for a guy to ride the bench.

It is highly unlikely Mad Genius will allow an uninjured Dak Prescott anywhere near the bench when the offense is on the field. Of course, history could repeat itself if Prescott gets injured and either Joe Milton or Will Grier perform as well or better than he did in 2016. Jerry Jones is as susceptible to Team Chemistry Euphoria as some fans and media have been in the past.

Dak Is what he is. Don't overthink it

Full realm of discussion always exists on facts...not bias presented. No matter what happens this presents bias here and now. One can complain, which is shown here. But prejudice unfairly shows poor morales and ethics. The sport presents confrontation, not lack of objectivity.

And yet he defends Dak at every turn.

I guess he has to these days to avoid the social media backlash, but I remember when Troy was pretty brutally honest.
Troy Aikman's comments suggest that while players can improve their football skills, accuracy might be a more inherent trait, similar to a talent. He implies that you either have the ability to throw accurately, or you don't, and it's not something that can be solely learned through practice or instruction.

Aikman's statement, "accuracy, you either have it or you don't," implies that while other football skills can be honed through training, the ability to consistently throw the ball accurately might be more innate. He doesn't necessarily deny the possibility of improvement, but he seems to suggest that the foundation for accuracy might be present from the start.
For example, he has been vocal about Dak Prescott's accuracy, suggesting that it's an area where Prescott needs to improve. This implies that while Prescott can learn other aspects of the game, his accuracy might be a challenge

Bad boy Troy.

you needed those stirrups taken up a few notches. What kind of setting was this pic taken in? Private farm? Looks like it could be a public-type stable.
That appraisal apply to horse hockey as well? Those horses require more work than a private riding horse. loved by sharing experiences. Think? It wasn't just a woman's horse.

Troy believes. :D

#WINNERTALK... the Dak-stans are ALLERGIC to this talk. They live in faith and wish-thinking...not results-oriented like Troy.

Fixed your post. Relying on Aubrey...weak-sauce. Brady been retired 2 years, got him by 15 years and still beating him. PATHETIC.

Only groupies and stans need a moderator to tell them what to think on an open discussion board!!! Like...what moderator or decent person wants the burden of thinking FOR someone else? Only the wrong kind. I don't see that on this board, but then again...I'm not looking for it...
