I want to see the Cowboys return to greatness

Just winning a Super Bowl would be enough for some. That would be, in their minds, evidence enough to show that the Cowboys are back.
Yet how many franchises make it to the Super Bowl and are never heard from again? The Falcons led the Patriots by 25 points in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl, only to lose and have never been close to returning.
Even the Saints have failed to return in 12 years since winning it all, and have been through some pretty bare seasons. The Cardinals were there, only to disappear. Carolina, same. Rams, same.
Only the Giants, Seahawks, Patriots, and Broncos have been to multiple Super Bowls. Only the Patriots and the Seahawks have remained competitive on a yearly basis.
The Dallas Cowboys need more than a head coach. They need someone who can teach them how to act as men. They need someone who can show them how to be professional and represent the NFL with class.
They need someone who can show them how to achieve greatness.
It truly isn't whether you win or lose as much as it is about how you play the game.
If you conduct yourself as men and play the game the way it should be played, winning will become second nature.
That's when greatness is achieved.

We've got almost a quarter of a century of not coming close to one, as the players from the Jimmy Era faded into retirement. I have no confidence Al Davis, I mean Jerry Jones, and his son are going to build another champion.

I'd like to see the phrase, "let's go" banned from football games. The amount of noise pollution eliminated and breath saved by the players would be incredible... the collective IQ of everyone involved is bound to improve as well.

Yeah, I'll be 53 next month. I thought it was a long wait from '77 to '92, but this is getting ridiculous. At least In that time the Cowboys were fun to watch win or lose. Often playing above their talent level. Jerry wasted a lot of time with bum coaches not named Parcells.

Look at what the Eagles are doing with all of those injuries. Look what Tomlin did after the complete collapse of their offense. Neither team is championship caliber, but you can't say those coaches aren't getting the absolute best from their players. All while Dallas tries to stack talent and they go 8-8.
