I was looking forward to this game when I saw it on the schedule.

I wanted to see how Manning would do against our CB's. (Mainly since I played CB.)

I had a feeling that he wouldn't do too well.

Now look at the stats....19 incompletions to 20 completions. 2 INT's.

This game REALLY shouldn't have been as close as it was should Vandy figure out how to kick though the uprights instead of at them.

Did anybody hear Newman talking to the press? He said right there that the CB's should get into the Pro-bowl....he said to just look at the film of them on their receivers.

From the stadium it looks like, only good completions were on busted coverages most often than really getting beat. It looked like great coverage most of the time from where I was sitting.

It looked like Manning was rattled from the get-go....from the t.v. :)

Peyton was looking for Harrison a lot in this game, but a certain someone (# 41) was playing great football. Henry played great as well, we knew coming in that Wayne or Harrison was gonna go for 100+ and a TD. Our secondary did a great job, and they consistantly make plays. They never seem to bend or break, but when they break, well... yeah... Matt Jones looks like a pro bowler.

Today's the kind of game that makes me wonder, even as a Manning fan, whether he'll ever win a title.

EVERY quarterback will struggle at some point. He's allowed his bad game or two. That's not my point. But the performance I saw today just seems like the one I always see in, say, the second or third round of the playoffs.

I think it's difficult to carry a team like he does. I don't even know if my criticism is of him or more of the team's structure in general. They're so great, yet seemingly flawed to the point that I question whether they'll ever win it all.

Kinda like Philly with McNabb. One of those "Yeah, but"...

I have to say seems like Indi D played pretty well for the most part. But its just hits got to Peyton, since there were big, especially Ware's hits. But thats pretty much every QB gets happy feet most likely when you get hit that often.

I'm on record as stating that he will NEVER win a title.

His contract as well as Manning's makes it difficult to keep signing your top players....on offense OR defense.
You need a tough defense to make it through the playoffs and they don't have one.
