I've been very hard on this team and its coaches, and rightfully so. Two weeks ago, I said I was impressed but not ready to say this team was any different.

Well, tonight they proved me wrong on all fronts. This team is very different from the ones the last two years that crumped in the face of adversity. They are mentally and physically tough, and while there are still stupid penalties and mistakes, we finally have a group with the mindset to overcome them.

You won't hear anything negative from me again this season, because this team has gone out of their way to prove me wrong. I don't understand it, I have no idea how they changed their ways, but they did, and tonight they showed the entire nation what they are made of.

I'm waiting until December before i make any judgement like that. The remaining schedule has plenty of tough games left on it.

Exactly, all said til December is over, but this was a big game, well until Dallas won it, but a big game and ruler of the division for now.

Yeah, right... the only way you'll be able to keep that promise is not to post again until February... LOL...

to be honest I'm more nervous now than I was after being 2-2 and all the problems we were going through then.

It seems this era of the Cowboys are talented, there's no doubt about that, but when we start peaking there's always the drop off where it seems some team exposes us or pulls out the blueprint.

So yeah, I'm very excited to be in first place, but I want this team to keep feeling as if they need to fight. That's when they play at their best.

Plus it helps that we have all our weapons on the field in November for the first time in 3 years. Maybe we can finally play to our abilities without the injury bug for once going into the fateful month of December.

Well, I'm not sold yet, but some things have changed, the special team and the secondary are making plays. Romo played well and for a change I thought Garrett had an excellent game plan. In this game everyone who took the field showed up. They made some mistakes, but they showed they can come into a hostile environment and win a big game. This is how great seasons start, the team has to build on this and take into the playoffs.

I can't say we definitely changed

cuz we usually take the 1st game from the Eagles

I'll wait, but enjoy every minute though

This was a great win that I did not think we would get. Fantastic job by the D to not let the Eagles take over the game as I thought they would in the 2nd half. We need to take out the Pack next week or this win will lose a lot of it's luster. But KUDOS to the players and COACHES for this gritty, hard-fought win. Forgive me for doubting at halftime...

So I guess I can remove him from my ignore list.

Good job for admitting you were wrong.

Can't you just enjoy a big win? The Cowboys just did something everybody said they couldn't do. Enjoy it.

Me too, I LOVE this blue collar approach. Stay humble, work hard, QB protects the ball, take short passes instead of constantly looking for the bomb, good D, interjecting youth, etc, etc

Please let this be the eternal mantra for the Cowboys Jerry and I will proclaim you as the best owner in the league.

Don't rest on your laurels and get cocky fellas, there's a lot of season left and the Eagles will be every bit as tough or tougher next time.
