I was thinking a loss would destroy the rest of my holiday weekend

I stopped years ago allowing Cowboy losses to ruin my Thanksgiving. I'm not about to allow a Cowboys loss to ruin a day for being thankful and spending time with my family.

You're a bad fan.

You should be busting up the furniture and beating the family.

All my immediate family here are Cowboys' fans, so if they lose it would not be good. But when I think about it very few Thanksgiving games do I remember the wins or losses except the very memorable ones. I remember the fun I had with my people. It's all good.

hahaha... yeh... after awhile you learn to watch the ebb and flow of the game, they win when they deserve to (a few exceptions).... there are a lot of emotions between happy and mad.

I do remember the game against the Dolphins years ago (Leon Lett fumble). I had many members of my family in town and I threw a glass of iced tea at the TV. I was so embarrassed at that. From then on the game became a game. I'm happy when they win but I forget about it soon after.

I would never watch this game with a eagles fan which is why I am alone today eating Boston Market

I'm sure there's some fans like that you can tell on the game chat that some don't have it together. A fan posted a YouTube vid tearing up his house after the loss to Washington. Losses bother me on a typical Sunday, Monday Night or Thursday but not on a Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I have a friend who's a diehard Raiders fan who's just like that guy. After the refs called a tuck on Brady and not a fumble during the 01 playoffs vs the Raiders in a rage he ran towards his sliding glass door and drop kicked it shattering it. His wife made him undergo a psychiatric evaluation. lol
