I was wrong about the Cooper trade

I’ll admit it here and now. I felt they overpayed with a 1st and that it was just one of Jerry’s desperation moves.

I was wrong. This guy is special and I give props to Jerry and company for seeing it and pulling the trigger.

I’ll also give Dak props for doing what he has to help this team win 5 in a row. He’s been solid and made plays when he’s had to.

Join these two guys with Zeke and this defense and this team is making me believe they just may do something special.

Same here. Liked the player, but never did I think a mid season trade would work out this well. Thought we'd be giving up a top 8-12 pick for a guy who at best would help us win next year.

A lot of us were wrong. We thought it was going to be a top 5 pick the way we were going. Now with a pick maybe in the 20's it was well worth it and he's made the offense that much better. Still hate that the FO waited so long to make changes until the season was almost lost.
