I like Heath because he is a body snatcher...a hitter. He is not an All Pro...but he is solid and reliable and puts a little fear in offensive sizzle players. That's a good thing.

Agreed, I never really understood his status as a whipping boy around here, he's always been a good special teams player from the get go and is at the very least a solid backup for this team.

I have taken a lot of shots at the FO for the defensive line, but they are a legitimate force. David Irving and DeMarcus Lawrence are wrecking machines out there. Crawford might not be living up to his paycheck, but he is a baller. If we can get some consistent play from the LBs out there, this is a Super Bowl Caliber front 7. Lee is a beast, but we need Hitch, Jaylon, and Wilson to step up.

Mullet lad, I feel the same way about those 3.
But do not get carried away. This defensive unit, even with LB improvement is a long way from being Super Bowl material. Lee is a beast. But for how long? Our secondary is crap as well, so hold off on the superlatives for now, my good lad.

I was one. I love this defense and they’re only going to get better. I’m not a big fan of the defensive scheme, but that’s another story.
