I was wrong about the oline...

They may not be the worst in the nfl, they could be the worst in nfl history.

We knew this would be the bane of the team, but I had hoped we would all be wrong and by some miracle, signing two backups to play guard might help. I think they are worse. Jerry and Garrett could not have bumbled the oline any more than they have. It really is sad. Romos career has been pissed away because of it.

This game was far and away an even worse showing than the loss last week. Nobody can crow about its only one game. Two in a row that was downright embarrassing. And to think I flew in and got tickets to the game. From the first play of the game, Garrett blew the play calling.

You want to establish the physicality of your team first thing in the home opener. So what is Garret's first call?......double fake reverse screen pass! Lol

This clown needs to get the heck out of dodge. It's official, he is bad. Could the team and his offense be any more lethargic, undisciplined, unmotivated, and unemotional? As a motivator, the guy is a slug. As a play caller, the worst.

There is no way this team makes the playoffs. Not with our schedule, not with this line, not with this coach.

They will be lucky to get to 8 wins. Another blown year of disappointment and frustration. The life of a cowboys fan. We are the Chicago cubs of the nfl. Shameful.

Well at least you started off your opinions with a well reasoned thought completely bereft of hyperbole, so we would know from the outset that this is a carefully measured observation.

Really? Worst in NFL history? Jeez, no wonder our fan base is constantly made fun of.

If there's any firsts in NFL history at work here, the Cowboys might have the first home stadium where opponent's offense can hard count in the red zone.

haven't been to Cowboys Stadium, but from the games I went to at Texas Stadium, fans didn't help the home team much. The noise level was consistant whether Dallas was on offense or defense.

It's not like some places where the fans get completely silent.

Worst in history? :laugh2:

Stop it. They're clearly not very good, but they're definitely not the worst in history.

Went yesterday and it was actually loud for once.

And things could get even worse!

(not that they're the worst in NFL history, that was just crazy exaggeration!)

But did anyone notice how bad Dockery looked in just the few plays he was in there?

Or what things could look like if Cook was injured on that kneel-down BS?

This team got away with a win against an even more inept offense.

Happy about the win, but not fooling myself about the significant issues.

This team has a week to bring in some offensive line candidates.

Call Montrae Holland and have him bring Jeff Otah to town with him.

Or at least look at options of your own, but don't sit on your hands any longer!

They are in the running. I can't imagine an oline being any worse. We actually don't get a chance to see how really bad they are. With romo and his magic act, he squirms out of at least 7 or 8 sacks a game. To a less mobile qb, this line would be dialing up double digit sacks every week. Romo won't make it past week 8.

Our O-Line sucks so we all blame Garrett instead of the O-Line coach? I couldn't even tell you the name of our O-Line coach and that's pretty sad because he should be the one taking the heat in Dallas. Once again I'm not sure why they cut Levy Adcock in the pre-season without even letting him see the field. The kid was a beast at OSU last year and never allowed a sack. We need to stop talking and make a few phone calls and get some more big uglies in Dallas before Murray and Romo get injured.

Still tame as hell, go listen to the Baltimore crowd last night.

I guess it's different when you're there in person. They sounded pretty loud in person. I'll rewatch the game and see how loud they were on TV.

I have a fear that if he gets hurt and we have to play a backup that isn't a mobile that only then will Jerry see that you have to have a strong center and good guard play...much like what is happening with the secondary now. Gotta correct those two areas before this team makes a good leap forward.

Put Doug Free on any o-line and they drop 10 spots in the rankings automatically.
