I watched several including the one with Goff. He is a handsome young man, we'll spoken, BUT I came away with the impression he is more like Richie Cunningham rather than the Fonze. I have questions if he has that kind of personality to take charge of the huddle like Aikman had. In this day and age of nutjob personalities like Dez Bryant, an alpha QB is essential.

Dez is not a nut job...

He can be on the sideline. I don't know anything about Goff's personality but I do tend to agree that you want your QB to be an alpha dog, especially if he has to deal with a guy like Bryant who can occasionally pop off on the sidelines.

I love this post for the Happy Day references alone...

With Dez it's a nut job case...but with Beckham or anyone else it's passion....So the sideline stuff is out...there have been no oof the field issues unless you want to say getting the monkey was an issue...
It's in the heat of a game, i throw that stuff out, as it has never carried over to the locker room or any further than game day.

I had to think twice about using it because only the older crew would get it and it wouldn't register with the younger crowd. Point is, I came away concerned, right or wrong, with Goff's ability to be an Alpha Dog.

lol, I suppose it's relative, (depending on how much of a nutjob you are haha) but I'm going to go with yes he is.

see my response above...it's a game day thing, but yet people still want to put labels on players.

I'm 37 and Happy Days has always been one of my favorite shows.

Not a game day thing. Dez does crazy crap outside of the game too. (idiot buys a bunch of expensive cars so his friends have something to drive around, that is something an idiot would do)

Sounds to me like a good friend...and if that is what he wants to do with his money, it is up to him.

It's stupid. That's how you go broke. Go ask all the dead-broke ex-NFL/NBA players out there that did that exact same thing.

I agree, it's stupid to us. But since it has no bearing on what he does on the field, I don't care. I'm not going to call him names because of it.
