you would be correct if the Boys were playing against the Boys defense. Texans actually have a good defensive coach, best DE duo and one of the best DBs. Schotty is still learning unfortunately.

This is why I am happy about the Porter trade, and hopefully they extend him. If they have him they don't have to draft another CB in the first round. They can focus on an OT. This OL needs to get better, especially the RT.

I’m afraid we will definitely need another first rounder on the defense. Surely we can develop a mid round pick or sign a free agent RT that can do better than Steele.

We traded for Jones (another Stealer).Who was a high first round pick just a few years ago. He should be the starting RT here very soon. If he can follow the LT trajectory, he should be our RT for the next few years.

I have a hard time imagining this team can beat anyone by 3tds unless I’m playing qb for the other team.

Meh....Dak was under constant siege from just a 4 man d line meaning he was throwing into 7 man coverage under pressure. Very hard to throw the ball downfield under the circumstances. Second half we just went to Lamb and Houston had no answers. The one deep ball to Pickens probably shouldn't have been thrown....he was covered but we know Pickens has a rare ability to come down with it in those situations.

The one deep ball to Pickens was there all day and should absolutely be thrown. Anytime he or Lamb is 1v1 outside with no help you must throw it up. That’s part of the reason we aren’t 3-1 or 4-0

I think Dak had to get rid of the ball quicker than he wanted to in the first half. That pass rush was giving him problems.

In second half he took a few shots. It just wasn't realistic to attack more downfield when the pocket kept collapsing.

Anything less than 40 a game is a bad offensive performance around here, and of course when we score 40 and still don’t win it’s still the offense’s fault.
