For years I have wanted Jerry to hire a head coach that is young, confident, disciplined, has no NFL head coaching experience, with no skins on the wall.

I have wanted a young guy that has a little chip on his shoulder because he wants badly to prove that he can win, .. and win big in the NFL.

I have wanted a guy who is hungry to show that he can win a Super Bowl.

I have never wanted someone else's retread HC.

* Now we have what I have been screaming for.

I also have always been wanting a defense that will "sic'em from the word go!"

I would rather lose with an aggressive defense than fail with a passive defense hoping to keep the game close.

I am sick of playing 'not to lose' defensively.

* Now we have a defensive coordinator that is known for being aggresive and hungry, .. that will bring attitude to our defense.

If we don't win now, I will have to shut up and let them try it some other way. I have been complaining because they weren't doing it the way I wanted to do it. Well now they are doing it the way I have wanted to try, ... so if we don't win now I will have to just shut up, keep my opinions and wants to myself.

I am anxious to see how this all turns out.

No, it's pretty simple.

If we win I will be thrilled watching Garrett do it his way, .. and Ryans D bringing the 'smack'.

If this approach doesn't bring a winner, whatever else happens, I can't complain.

I totally fall in line with you WV. This is _EXACTLY_ what I've wanted to happen. A defense with tons of pressure and swagger. A smart, no-nonsense young HC.

If there is football this year, the Cowboys are going to be so fun to watch.

I absolutely cannot wait until Draft/TC.

If this approach doesn't bring a winner, it's all my fault.

Fixed.

I hear ya, ... Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, .. I mean, was anyone really surprised that they weren't successful?

I was on board with Parcells, .. but then we found out what a mistake it is to bring in someone else's old retread coach.

We learned our lesson, but Jerry didn't learn his, .. thus we got Wade.

After Wade was gone, then the talk was we would get Cowher, Gruden, Fisher or another retread.

And now JG. I realize every new coach is a gamble of some sort.

This is the route that made the most sense, so if this doesn't work, I may have to agree with those that say Jerry is cursed. :D

Yeah completely turning the team around and getting rid of the whole losing culture really did suck.

I could be wrong but I think he means that Parcells wasn't committed to finishing the job here. He turned it around but bailed on us just when we were about to achieve greatness. He lost the hunger inside and stepped down. I don't see JG losing that hunger anytime soon.

Jason Garrett has fire in his eyes...I can tell just by listening to him, much less watching him. Yeah, and he's young. ;)

What is cool to me is that Garrett was a Cowboy. And, he still is.

Me Too!! You can tell he takes pride in it to. I believe the pride and swagger is going to return to our Dallas Cowboys and I can't wait!

Damn..I forgot about that!

If there is a lockout, I am going to be pissed off!

The Commanders will win another SuperBowl!

That is probably one of the most exciting things for me about Garrett, that he is a homegrown product of the Dallas Cowboys, and now he is our head coach.

You can tell Jason is a born winner. Failure to him is inexcusable.

The NFL has no clue what is about to happen. They have no clue that the Dallas Cowboys are going to begin rising to the top in a dominating fashion for many seasons.
