I have lost some faith in Bledsoe. But if he does have a good game against the Commanders I will put up a Bledsoe apology thread myself. And no I aint gonna be wack about it where I say he has to throw 5 TD passes and 400 yards and complete 80% of his passes.

If he throws 2 TD passes and plays good and his good play is what is helps win us the game. That is nuff.

I really do hope I have to put this thread next week.....seriously.

Frankly-I think he's starting to develop that "trust" factor with Tucker(like he has with Adams).

Sure-KC's D is porous, but Detroit's D is far worse-and Bledsoe did next to nil with the latter.

He had a bad game today? You would think that you gained some faith from today.

It's always going to be about the O-line. Aikman looked terrible when he was pressured all day also.

Of all of the times you could have posted this, why now? Why after he goes for 300+ yards, 2 TD's and no interceptions? Drew looked rock-solid out there.

I have a lot of trouble placing a lot of blame on Bledsoe. He's putting forth the best performance we've seen here at this position in quite some time. We know he has his weaknesses, but every player does, and I don't think his weaknesses have been enough to outweigh the significant upside he has displayed this season.

We have struggled so hard to find even adequate play at the position, and we finally have a Pro Bowler and some are ready to cast him aside for the next guy.

There are not many quarterbacks I'd take right now over Bledsoe -- considering his ups and downs, alike.

His successes and failures are so intricately intertwined with those of the offensive line that some can't find the distinction. Of course one of the signs of a great QB is that he finds a way to get it to his receivers despite inadequate pass protection, but come on now, Bledsoe has done as well as just about anybody could given the nature of the offensive line this year.

There are maybe three or four quarterbacks I'd take over Bledsoe right now, but other than that, I think he's done pretty darn well considering.

Yeah Bledsoe played good today. But I wanna see that against a good defense like the SKins have.

Geez how many peeps would post a apology thread like I will if Bledsoe plays good against a good defense like the Skins have.

TunaFan33....do you have faith in Tucker like I do. I think the man is gonna be our big surprise next year and be very good.

:hammer:
Bledsoe is by far the best QB we have put on the field since Troy retired. He is a smart player with a strong arm and if our O-Line can play the rest of the year like they did today Bledsoe will keep performing. He doesn't have to have perfect protection; he just has to have a little room to step up and avoid the rush. And Bledsoe has the strongest arm of any QB we've had since Craig Morton and maybe the strongest we have ever had.

Tucker could be our future Larry Allen.

Remember in Barry Switzer's first year-Erik Williams went down with that knee injury, and rookie LA got his first taste at that RT spot? Sure-he struggled a bit, but the SEEDS were being planted at the same time.

Frankly-if Williams had stayed healthy, we would have three-peated(Ricky Jackson had a field day against Allen in both games against SF). However-LA probably would never have existed if he hadn't got any playing time that year.

Which is why I'm getting this Tucker-vibe now. :)

Its just never good enough for some pple. Nothing Bledsoe does, even winning the superbowl will be good enough.

If Bledsoe wins a Super Bowl for Dallas then that will be more then I ever expected.

For all this controversy, if NE had beat GB in that Super Bowl, Favre would be the ONE getting all this negative talk/butt of the jokes, and not Bledsoe. FWIW-Favre's INT % is pretty darn high. But anyone who has a Super Bowl ring will almost always get a pass.

TD passes aren't necessarily correlated with good play. See Troy Aikman, for example.

Say what????

I'll admit Tucker's shown improvement, but let's not start comparing him to a future first ballot HOFer. Let's wait and see if he even starts next season when we get Flo back and Petiti has his rookie year out of the way.

I'm glad Drew is getting some credit again. I think he's been very good all season long.

I agree 100%.
That short list would be Carson, Peyton, and Tom. After that, Hasselback and Green would be ahead, but close to what Bledsoe offers now. Vick would also be there as well as Mcnabb, but they are different types of QB's.

Bledsoe may be imobile, but unlike Vick, at least he can find his receivers very well. :)

And his heart seems stronger than McNabbs
