That way, we could start calling Romo "The Freak"! This guy is the best QB in Cowboy's history. I know he's only played a little over a year, but he's doing stuff no other Cowboys QB has done. By the end of the season, he will have most of the single season records in club history. We're talking about guys like Merideth, Staubach, White, & Aikman. Thank God the Cowboys have a franchise QB the likes we've never seen. I would compare his actual play to Staubach, and his demeanor to Dandy Don. Both cool as a cucumber.

When Pam Oliver asked Romo how he could be laughing & joking right before going in for that last drive that won the game, he simply said, "I mean, you wanna be in those situations. If you're a competitor or an athlete, you wanna, I mean, it's fun sometimes to be in those kinds of situations where you need to have a drive or a shot or something to win the game. It was just really exciting to come out on top." (I personally think Pam has the major hots for our guy....haha.)

Man, isn't it great to have a QB who relishes those situations, and never chokes, because it's all fun to him. If he loses, oh well, he gave it his best shot. He'll just come back next week & hit it again.

As far as the game went, of course, the drive at the end was classic. There was another TD, though, that I just couldn't believe. That pass to Marion "The Barbarian" in the corner of the field was ridiculous. I mean, man, Romo was being rushed by an all-out blitz, and threw an off-balanced pass. The ball just seemed to float over all of the defenders, and right into Barber's hands. It was like there were no defenders on the field. Just pass & catch. Only a handfull of QBs in the history of the game could have made that pass.

As Jimmy said after the game, "They got the trigger man who can win at the end of the game....they believe they can win." As long as we have our "Trigger Man", we can keep building from there.
