We won our last Super Bowls while they held camp here, so why not give it a try again. I can imagine how big the crowds would be for training camp!! Also, Austin is a different city compared to what it used to be in the 1990's, unfortunately it has become the hipster capital of Texas!! LOL

That right there is the problem.

Well, not too long from now it will be in Dallas so many of us will be close enough to go see it anyway.

Yes, I liked it in Austin. I was at TC in 1992, 1993 and 1995.

I went several times in San Antonio but it was just not the same; although, a big part of that was that it was the crowds were small back in the early nineties but huge in the 2000s.

only those with no knowledge of the benefits of Oxnard want this. They just want the boys nearby for their own selfish reasons; no matter what is best for the team. Real Cowboy fans.

I agree, I think having training camp outside back in Austin would be great. Yes it is hot and yet high school and college kids manage to deal with the Texas heat every year as did the 90's Cowboys. Is it hard and stressful you bet, it is training camp it is supposed to be tough.

I went to visit them in Oxnard 2 years ago. It's better than that dump in San Antonio.

The Ox' is the way to go. Plus, it's helped me to raise two die-hard Cowboys fans in the heart of SF 9er territory during a time when the 9ers have been better than our Cowboys, overall.

I was too young to go to Austin but I went to SA when they were there during the Parcells era. I thought it was a great venue. I'm not for one trying to marshall the press to touch a player and get an autograph though. Outdoor is definitely better for that. For watching practice from that first porch at the AlamoDome was great though. Could hear the coaches and see the whites of their eyes. Everyone could.
