I wish there wasnt a cap

I don't think I'd like the no cap simply cause then it allows anyone else whose wanting to win bad, and I'm sure Jerry isn't the only one who wants to win bad, to spend whatever they want on whoever they want. Snyder already does it with a cap and kills himself cause of it.

Besides all that, what would be worse, is you'd have a couple of seasons with no cap, before they came to a new agreement, and then you're screwed the first few years of the new cap, or you have to dump a whole crap load of money out before the cap begins, cause you spent all that time just signing people for whatever they wanted.

No cap was nice in the 70's and 80's cause you weren't paying 80 million dollar deals to people.

Arlington's kicking in$325 million by increasing its taxes on sales, rental cars and hotels. Plus there is a 10 percent ticket tax and $3 parking fee for all events at the new football stadium that will help Jerry. And finally, the naming rights will probably be 500 million+ so you will have to tell me again how Jerry is out of pocket much money in the long run?

i was half joking there dakota . if you know the state of jerrys money please share it . I havent had the time to look into it.............

Yea, you could very easily destroy your team. Say Jerry starts throwing $50 mill at every free agent and before long the team salary is starting to look like the Yankees ($300+ mill per yr).

Now the owners agree to a new Cap and set it at $150 mill.

Jerry and the Boyz are officially screwed now:mad:

For what it's worth, Forbes estimates Jones' worth at 1.5 billion and doesn't include Snyder on its billionaires list.

I don't know that he has the money to compete with the super rich owners like Paul Allen. He certain has the desire. But Allen could wake up one day and decide to win the Superbowl as a gift for his family and spend a billion dollars on salaries the next two years.

He doesn't. From an NFL owners level, he's not all that rich. He leverages himself to the tilt with everything he owns and the problems with Six Flags ain't helping.
