Remembering back when I saw your first post about this, .. you were very anxious, nervous, and inexperienced.
You were asking for any suggestions about public speaking.
And now you have won, .. look how far you have come girl!!
Very nice job!!
I WAS very nervous then and at the time of my speech!! I couldn't sit still. That could have been the energy drink on top of the nerves.
I need to work on my National speech now. I have to change my speech to cater to a national level. I have some things I can pull out of my first speech before I made revisions that I think will work nicely with what I have.
I'm making a semi-first appearance today on the rehab floor. It's the monthly cross disability group meeting and though I have a workout right after it --- I'm going to head there in my crown and sash and workout clothes. Ha ha! What a look! I do have make up on and will put my hair up later after I show everyone at the Wellness Center too.
If anyone has any good ideas of places that are willing to donate prizes for a fund raiser I am all ears. Like restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I am planning on hitting up businesses in person with my crown and sash on and asking them to donate a prize. I think that would be best then over letter, right?
I found a photographer who is going to do some head shots, some with my truck, definitelly going to do one shot with my crown, sash, and COWBOYS jersey, one with my truck, etc.
OK -- I made this website on a whim the last couple of nights. What do you think of it?

SD doesn't have a site and they need one. This page is simple and next year I can just swap out my photo with the new winner and her bio.
