Looks to be not only a illegal facemask, but also a helmet to helmet. :D

First off I have never been one to complain about any hit. It's football. With that said it was Sean Taylor delivering that hit. Sure didn't look like he was avoiding contact there as was alleged by a poster in another thread.
Would have been nice to have seen him get his rear end a little lower and really finish the hit like RW would of. Seeing that it was only his third pro game maybe there is a chance that he will improve his technique as the season goes on.

I agree Monte. It is all in good fun.

BTW I think Taylor is going to be a fantastic player...sooner than later too.

We all know the truth.

Antonio Bryant was visciously trying to break poor Sean Taylor's fingers with his facemask!

Oh the humanity! Did you notice how he shrugged off sean taylors hit? That must mean Sean wasn't trying to hit him hard, atleast to the Commander faithful.

Bryant isnt a ***** so clearly the other guy must not be fined heh
I just love it how all three of the hits that have been discussed thsi week are so different. While roy knocks the sense out of his victims, Taylor gets punked into submission. BTW, you gotta love smoot being burned once again by Bryant.

Taylor didn't deliver a f'in thing. He couldnt' bring Bryant down so he resorted to face masking him and even THAT didnt' work. If Taylor would of "delivered a hit" there he wouldn't of had to facemask him. Taylor is not known for big hits. Period. He's a great ballhawk, but not a punishing hitter despite being 230+.

1...AB was running with the ball...helmit to helmit is legal...he was not in a defenseless position.

2...I never even saw the facemask...his head turned, but I didn't see any hint of a hand on his helmit at all...I think it looked more like their facemasks were tangled for a second...watch it again and see where the tackler's arms and hands are....no where near the head, unless I missed something.

The Deadskins have ALWAYS been posers.

Exhibit 1 - Skins Signing James Washington
Exhibit 2 - Skins Signing Prime Time
Exhibit 3 - SKins Signing Alvin Harper
Exhibit 4 - Skins Thinking they can clone Jerry Jones (Fanny Snyder)
Exhibit 5 - Skins Thinking they can clone Roy Williams (Sean Taylor)

Final Analysis - IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Get over it! :)

Might be time to get the old eyes checked....

You should put in an application with the NFL. You could clearly be an official. That was probably the most blatant and dangerous facemask I've seen. He wrenched his head around more than 90 degrees and pulled hard enough to pop off his chinstrap. I think you need a new monitor or a new prescription for your glasses/contacts.

Edit: And yeah, in the still photo that AB's EAR you are looking at - he pulled the helmet hard enough to pull it up over his ear.
