I don't think he wanted to risk having the ball stripped away. He did the right thing by knocking it out of bounds.

That was a pretty cool play, and I also thought at first that it would be very cool to see an INT in TO's stat line 4 TD-1 INT


Realistically, there was NO reason to go for the INT on that play or virtually any other hail-mary situation. TO did the right thing, and ended the game.

I thought it was bit ironic that of all the defenders at same area, it was TO who ended up knocking the ball out of bounds.
