T.O. didn't go for the int at the end of the game.
It just about hit him in the gut and he just knocked it out of bounds.
Now I know that they are taught to knock it down, but he so totally could have had the int.

He is a smart player. Bottom line.

Going for the pick is flat out stupid in that situation.

They are told not to go for the int because something strange could happen. You need to end the play as quickly as possible.

Just T.O. dropping another pass.

I remember a certain SD player Intercepting Brady on a 4th down play in the playoffs,

and i remember a certain SD player, then fumbling the ball and giving the Pats a second chance to drive down the field and win the game

Maybe, just maybe, someone whispered to just knock the ball out of bounds. That way the game ends.

I remember the Falcons/Saints game last year.

When Mr Look At Me tried to pickoff a hail mary at halftime and T Copper came down with 6.

Defenders are taught to knock down hail mary passes, not try to intercept them. If you wonder why, go back and watch Romo's deep pass after one of Gurode's bad snaps.

The only thing I wondered is just how hard did Tony slap five with Wade? Wade flinched.

That was great. I saw Wade get hurt from a 'gimme five'.

get the ball on the ground. On hail marys, that is the drill.

I don't think he wanted to risk having the ball stripped away. He did the right thing by knocking it out of bounds.

That was a pretty cool play, and I also thought at first that it would be very cool to see an INT in TO's stat line 4 TD-1 INT

Realistically, there was NO reason to go for the INT on that play or virtually any other hail-mary situation. TO did the right thing, and ended the game.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What a great rivalry game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that the guy does a great, unselfish act, and some people apparently question why he wasn't more selfish.

I thought it was bit ironic that of all the defenders at same area, it was TO who ended up knocking the ball out of bounds.
