I am a little hesitant about Leinart, but no way I compare him to Ryan Leaf. He played in a sort of pro offense and has played well for 3 seasons. I always thought of Ryan Leaf as a 1 year wonder coming out of WSU. Leaf was hidden up in the northwest and couldn't handle the pressure once put in the NFL spotlight. Leinart has been in the spotlight for the last 3 years. He had to take over for a Heisman trophy winner and he did that very well.
I don't think of Leaf at all when watching Leinart. He may fail, but it won't be for one of the poorest attitudes in the world. Leaf would not do his off the field work. He did not study game film or pay attention to coaches.
