My attempt at a mock draft:

I believe that the Cowboys will trade down in the draft with either the Panthers or the Colts. I believe this will happen because both the Panthers and Colts are fighting for a running back, and I think the general assupmtion is that must get ahead of the Patriots in or der to do this. So my mock has the Cowboys trading the #18 overall pick to the Panthers for the #27 overall and #58 overall picks. There is a difference of 90 points (in Dallas' favor), so there might be another later round that the Cowboys give up, or maybe the Panthers suck up that 90 points because they really really want LenDale White. So here is what I have the Cowboys doing:

#27 Manny Lawson, OLB NC State - has the speed to get to the QB as well as cover TEs and RBs when needed. Bill Parcells will also love the fact that he can block kicks.
#49 John McCargo, DT NC State - a big body to replace Laroi Glover in the middle. He can learn behind Jason Ferguson, and be our DT of the future. Parcells likes to get players from big time programs and, although NC State isn't really a big time football school, Chuck Amato is a big time defensive coach.
#58 Pat Watkins, S FSU - we need to start getting younger at the saftey position.
#80 Chris Gocong, DE/LB Cal-Poly - Need to get more depth here just in case Ware or Lawson get hurt.

Don't know Lawson will be there at 27. McCargo is a vastly underrated player and will go in the second. Few people know of him.

Not that impressed with McCargo- I don't think he has the bulk/strength to really anchor at NT. Fifita has it all over him and we can get Fifita no higher in the 4th, probably 5th.
