I would only want the 6th seed if the Eagles are the 3 seed

Can you imagine how wonderful that would be to get a chance to play the eagles in their place in a do or die wildcard game? And the fact that we play better on the road is another reason why I would not mind it one bit based on our road record. Now if the Packers fall to number 3 then I would not be happy about getting the 6th seed at all, Plus I feel our best chance to get to the superbowl would be to play the role of the road warrior like the Giants, Packers, and Ravens have done in previous seasons.

So I am not all that upset over not getting the division title because that would mean another game in Dallas.

Anyone else besides me would love to see a wildcard vs the eagles in philly??

Don't really care who we play if we make the playoffs. Why are people so afraid of Green Bay, bring them on or whoever.

We control our destiny! I have faith that we will be here two Fridays from now talking about first place on the line.

Yesterday was horrible and we can only improve from what transpired. The second matchup will be ours. 10 days to prep for the Eagles will help out a lot.

Its a tail kicking and we have to move on from it.

I actually want this team to do something no one thinks it can and hasn't done in a long time and that is win out and put all the doubt to rest. Like you said the Cowboys control whether they make the playoffs right now. They don't need help from another team right now. Just win out.

Very good chance the 3 seed comes from the West...not sure why the Packers are your only other option.

The last time the Cowboys played in Philly in a do or die game it led to a 44-6 debacle. If the Cowboys make the playoffs and have to go to Philly you'll see a repeat of what we saw yesterday. As for the Cowboys playing better on the road although they're undefeated on the road this season they had to battle back from a 21 point deficit at St Louis. They had to battle back from a 10 point deficit at Seattle and an 11 point deficit last Sunday in NY to a 3 win Giants team. It's not like the Cowboys have been world beaters on the road they've been able to escape with some unlikely comebacks. If the Cowboys get down by any of those margins to Philly in Philly during the playoffs the Eagles might put 50 on them. What I saw yesterday was the Cowboys being beaten in every phase of the game by a much better football team. What we witnessed yesterday was an embarrassment by a Cowboys team that's positioning itself for another Dec swoon.

The only place other than Philly the Cowboys would stand a worse chance of winning a playoff game would be at Lambeau where they've never won a playoff game. The Cowboys are 2-3 in their last 5 games and look nothing like the team that won 6 straight earlier in the season. With December almost here the Cowboys are not playing good football what else is new! A playoff atmosphere on the road is a lot different than the atmosphere during the regular season. The Cowboys can't handle playoff/elimination game pressure on the road. Romo is 0-6 in playoff/elimination games on the road. The last playoff game the Cowboys played on the road they got pummeled by the Vikings 34-3 and Romo had 3 turnovers. Of Romo's 12 playoff/elimination game turnovers 11 have come on the road. You'll get a good idea of how little a chance the Cowboys would have vs Philly in Philly during the playoffs when the Cowboys play them in Philly in 2 weeks.

The Cowboys won in Philly last season because Foles had a horrendous game. He only completed 37.9% of his passes for 80 yards with a 46.2 passer rating. I doubt Brandon Weeden ever had a worse game than that. Foles ended up being injured and Barkley replaced him and was even worse. Barkley tossed 3 int's and ended with a passer rating of 35.2. Both Foles and Barkley's passer ratings combined wouldn't have added up to a good passer rating. lol As bad as both QB's were the Cowboys only won by 14 points.

Sanchez would have to have a complete meltdown for the Cowboys to have any chance of beating Philly regardless where the game was played. The Cowboys were totally outclassed yesterday. They couldn't stop the run or the pass it was a complete mismatch. If it was a fight it would have been stopped. The Cowboys don't matchup well with Philly that was made perfectly obvious yesterday. They'll be lucky to stay within 2 scores of them 2 weeks from now.

Well that would mean someone on the defensive staff needs to be fired since they are unable to make adjustments based on yesterday's game

They're going to have to make a lot of adjustments because that was one thorough beating. Yesterday the Cowboys looked like the bad team everyone thought they would be entering the season. It's not the loss that bothered me it was the way they lost that made it so troubling.

Just realized we have to root for the eagles next week. I won't watch it though.

I don't want the eagles or the packers.......or any team that can expose our secondary/ linebackers that cant play zone. Actually we can't get pressure either. If only we could play the Jags or Titans every week.

Why root for the Eagles? If they lose to Seattle and the Cowboys beat Chicago then Philly the following week the Cowboys will be up by one game in the division. I wouldn't be getting my hopes up for a wildcard if I were you the Cowboys have 4 conference losses and will lose tie breakers to SF and AZ. It's shaping up to be a pretty good battle for the wildcard spots so the Cowboys best chance may be winning the division. Even though I have no confidence the Cowboys can beat Philly bad things can still happen with Mark Sanchez at QB.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Don't worry - there will be some sacrificial lambs after this season...

I do think Henderson needs to go. He is a holdover from Ryan's staff and I honestly do not think he gets what Marinelli wants to do conceptually.

All depends on if Marinelli hangs around. If he does, I think there might be a move there.

If he leaves and Eberflus gets promoted (hate the idea though), he is safe.

What are your views on Marinelli? Is he is doing a wonderful job given the talent that he has to work with?

Even after that *** pounding, you still want the Eagles?

Not all NFL games play out the same. There are numerous types of game a in Nfl history, that after being blown out in the first game, a team plays a much closer or even wins in the second matchup.

Agreed! Yesterday was horrible and if we were to predict the remaining schedule after a blowout loss NE and Philly would've responded in the same manner weeks after their horrific showing.
