Round 1: OT Kingsley Suamataia, BYU

Kingsley Suamataia is one the more polarizing prospects in this OT-heavy class but at the backend of round one, he is an absolute steal. He started with Oregon before transferring to BYU and has been a two-year starter at both left and right tackle. His positional versatility is shown in not allowing a single sack in over 600 pass-block snaps in the past two seasons.

Suamataia is long at 6-foot-6 but has Tyler Smith-esc power to just throw dudes out of the club with all of his 320+ pounds. His power is immense but what is surprising about Suamataia is his foot speed. He can make up ground so quickly and in space, he combines his athleticism with his power to flatline anyone in his way. He has a ways to go in terms of consistency but his traits and flashes are special enough to warrant a first-round pick.

Round 2: OC Jackson Powers-Johnson, Oregon

An All-Name candidate, Jackson Powers-Johnson is, oddly enough, an exciting center prospect. In 2021 he started as a backup interior lineman with snaps at both guard positions and center, with one start at defensive tackle as well. In 2022 he then played mostly right guard but also some center, left guard, and right tackle. This season he locked down the center position and has excelled in doing so.

Powers-Johnson is everything you want from your modern offensive lineman. What will pop off the film immediately is his motor. He will consistently follow plays downfield and even when he’s beaten he will do any and everything he possibly can to recover on a play. His power is what pops off next. Not only is he strong throughout his frame but his grip strength is fantastic. Just to top it all off he’s another guy you don’t want to see in space. His mentality and versatility are a perfect fit for what Dallas needs offensively.

Not a big fan of Allen. He looks like he can be a bruiser but he's not the most explosive/athletic guy.

The first two would be great.

I'm a huge fan of Allen. Looks like a poor mans Derrick Henry.
I want J'Vondre Sweat in the first round . Believe me. He's going to be a beast.

Deep Tackle class, but Kinglsey is one of those guys that has all the tools to be a good LT. Curious to see how high he climbs after the workouts.

I don't see any scenario that we draft a center in the top 3 rounds. That's just my prediction though

We should
Beadasz is a weak link at the 2nd most important position on the OL
He seems adequate because he plays between an all Pro and a future all Pro

Hitting on a great rookie interior player whether oline or dline is mostly luck as far as them performing at a high level as a rookie. There hasn't been a travis Frederick since Travis Frederick.

Love the Power-Johnson pick but not sure I'm taking a tackle with my first unless Tyron walks or retires. I think we are resigning him to a modest short-term extension. Power-Johnson is your future center or guard.

You think there are plenty of rookie centers that came in good day 1? If you want to draft a guy for future years ok but the nfl shows centers can be found in mid rounds if we have to wait fir a guy to be good. You're right about Humphrey being good day 1. Now between 2013 and now who were the other rookie centers to come in playing at a high level?

Moving the goalposts wont help
I never said any of these things
I said, we need to upgrade at C and thats a fact

Banking on Smith to stay healthy again next year is really risky and stupid IMO.
