I'd just like to point out..

He definitely broke the plane. Don't know why the announcers never mentioned that it was close.

That was a different play. On third down, it looked like he might have stretched the ball out to the goal line before going down.

We should have challenged the spot. He might or might not have got the ball over the line, but I'm positive that it was well ahead of where they spotted it. Even if we "lost" the challenge for a TD, they would re-spot the ball where it actually was, which looked to be within inches, if it wasn't a TD.

We made some incredibly stupid coaching decisions today, and not challenging the spot was one of them.

It was close. I thought he might have had it, but they let it go.

What were the others? Was standing around on the side line looking like he had no idea what was happening one of them?

Homers never die.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to just fade away, either.

It needs to be said that folks that say things like the OP have become part of the Dallas Cowboys culture and that is a sad state of affairs.

This has nothing to do with being a homer.

I also think Barber had the TD. I don't mean that as an excuse, it is just an observation. I also think the team quit today.

I thought he would challenge that play for sure.

For you absolute morons that have no idea what I'm talking about. 3rd and goal, at the very least it was debatable, as he was VERY VERY close if not in.

To say I'm a homer for thinking he got it on that 3rd is downright stupid.

He really didn't get it. Get over it. Garrett's same play call three times in a row on the goal line should have all of us fuming. No creativity whatsoever... That is all.

You have the biggest, heaviest O-line in football. You have Marion Barber in as the I-Back and the fullback. You should be able to get one yard on four attempts. The failure there was on the personnel, not on the playcaller.

Both failed miserably.

I ate a bunch of deviled eggs earlier and will pay for it later...That is all.

I'd like to point out on the very next drive on the 1 Rivers got a yard on the QB sneak. That is a complicated play but I think if we practice it enough, we might just master it.

I was saying that to my friend, being that close why would they start out with the ball 3 yards deeper with a hand off. QB sneak and thats a TD.

It was close, but I dont think he got in. Would have probably been worth a challenge, but StayPuff was too busy eating a twinkie to throw the red flag.

You know, if you cant get 1 freaking yard.......you dont deserve to win.

Enough with the pudding and twinkie jokes. I don't think I've ever seen Wade take a bite of anything, LOL.

That's because he has an IV in his arm and a bag full of twinkie juice concealed under his clothing. He's soaking that **** up all game long.

The IV is gravy...get it right.:p: ;)

he didn't break the plane.... but he should have. The guy is just not a very good runner. He's way too slow hitting the hole, and not once did he move the pile. I don't know how many times today we had the chargers backs stopped for no gains, but they pushed ahead for another yard or two. Even sproles was doing this with consistency.

Barber is not breaking any tackles and is too slow to hit the hole. The hole was there on the goal line on 3rd down and it should have been a td. I was yelling at the tv when we ran the toss to the left with barber late in the game. The corner was sealed off but by the time he got there he got stopped for no gain. Any other runner makes the corner and picks up some decent yardage.

MB3 crossed the plane with the ball clear as day on 3rd and goal.

That is all.

He was close, but he needed to extend his arm with the ball - then it would have been "clear as day". I don't know why he didn't - probably afraid of making another critical fumble.

Nope. His helmet crossed the goal line and that's it. He moved the ball forward only after he was clearly down by contact.
