NO, you have to give Choice more carries than that. Choice is the better runningback, that is why people feel that way. You have had 4/5yrs to see the best that Barber has, and you saw just a little of what Choice will give us.

He is legit, another 4th rounder that should have gone sooner. Watch and learn this season about RBs.

No we dont. Choice is a #3 RB on this team

I don't think that Barber is a Brandon Jacobs type of running back. He has the power size ratio that Jacobs has but he is just not that big.

What makes the NYG offense go is whether Jacobs runs over the D in the first quarter or whether he does not.

I don't think that Barber is a 1st Qtr run over guys type of back. I would love to see Barber kept fresh for the end of third and fourth quarter. Name him the starter - he earned that I still believe, but I would give Choice and Jones more carries in the first threee qtrs than Barber - combined that is.

Barber is a great closer, he will run over defenders in the late 3rd and fourth quarters. Keep him fresh and let Choice do most of the tough running early in the game, he is really good at finding those little seems early on when defenses are freshest.

Felix is your all game long change of pace guy.

It is a good problem to have!

and the most complete coming out of college.

true, Barber was complete as well. People in here use to get upset with me, back when we drafted Barber and I told them that he was better than Julius, all they could talk about was Julius's speed, and I kept pointing out to them that speed does not make you a good RB.
Barber is good, but Choice is a better back, complete. He is not just a battering ram as Barber is. Choice is one of those backs that when the day is done he has totaled a lot of yards, plus he does not lose many yards, as Barber does by dancing around at times. choice is qucik to the holes and thru them and he can make you miss shile in the hole, just ask Leonard the safety from the ravens

Yea we do, and we will, and as the so called number 3 rb on the team, he will end up having the most carries, and yards this season.

Have you considered the possibility that in the games Choice started, the opposing defenses gave just a little less focus on stopping our running game?

Considering we we're playing our 3rd string RB and happen to have a pro-bowl QB.

I like Choice and I loved his production in December, but he was 3rd string for a reason.

I'd have to think evaluating RBs has to be easier than most other positions.

I don't agree with the theory that Barber is better in the closer role or at least that he should be saved for that role.

I think we should try to keep all three guys involved and fresh throughout the game.

Know I sound like a broken record, but using Barber at FB was some of the game could work real well.

Everytime I consider his game, his skill set. It just screams "highly effective undersized FB"

I don't buy it against the top 3 (I think, 1 and 2 for sure) run defenses in the league, at the end of the year when games matter most. Not to mention, AT Pittsburgh. If you are stout against the run, that's what you are. It's the way you play. Nobody ran on those guys.

Also, you overlook the state of our offensive line at that time. It was in shambles. Basically 3/5 of a line with Proctor playing and Flo's injuries.

No, Choice is just that good.
