San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis said the NFL needed to have a rule against tackling players "by his *****" a day after Davis said he was pulled down in a way that "was the most painful thing ever."

..........could they call it a "low horsecollar" ....:)

And if RHG had stepped in front of a player like Tomlin did? Man. I can't even imagine!

I played HS football without a cup, I knew the risks. Only time I took a shot to the nuts was in practice twice in the same day.

It's unconformably in my opinion.

Well then one cannot whine when one gets hit or tackled by their stuff if you are going to not wear the equipment. The do make soft cups that conform better less protection but better than none. I wore a soft cup playing lacrosse.
