If Andy Reid was the Cowboys coach

Not really. Reid has an overachieving team going to the playoffs. I would take that.

They really overachived tonight didnt they? They were two TD+ favorites, at home.

And got stoned.

A lot of Eagle fans have wanted Reid fired for a long time.

and after they go 1 and done in this postseason, they'll start screaming for him to be gone again

If andy reid was the cowboys coach.

the talk right now on nfl network and espn wouldnt be about how vick got beat up all night.....it would be how ANDY REID keeps throwing the ball and allowing vick to get hit. ANDY REID doesnt run the ball and he constantly tries to throw the ball down the field.

In Dallas the media locally and nationally would start there and work there way backwards blaming him for everything from balance problems to having players constantly hurt.

Reid went to 4 NFC championship games and 1 SB w/ a QB who couldnt throw it in the ocean.

On the fly he transitioned to a ****head QB and he has the 5th best team in the NFC .

Andy Reid is a good coach

How many people had the Eagles picked to win the division at the beginning of the season? I know i didn’t.

Another bad comparison thread. I get that sarcasm is an easy form of communication, but come on. One team is going down the drain, the other is on the rise.

I dont see them on the rise, nor do I see us as going down the drain. We got rid of our biggest issue 7 weeks ago.

Next year the Eagles will still be depending on a turnover prone QB, a pass happy head coach who gets his small QB beat up and a defense which wont be all that good

Our biggest issue fired our 2nd biggest issue

Andy Reid = Wade Phillips = Accomplished coordinators that fall short in the playoffs as head coaches.

lol ok David, whatever you say. Talking about next year when you have no clue what is going to happen to the Cowboys. Did you see the ages of the Eagles young playmakers? These guys are going to be good for a long time.

They are good. I really like McCoy. I was so mad the day they got him. Not that I expected us to get him, I just didnt want him going there.

But they still have plenty of other issues. 3 or 4 talented skill guys doesnt make you a championship team.

Yep... many of them are getting warmed up already.

Go over to Igglephans and see if you can figure out who "FF" is and what it means. :laugh2:

People sometimes act like Football is supposed to be a perfect thing where you simply put in the rosters and out comes the result. In addition they act as if you will never have a penalty, never have a turnover, never have a play that doesn't work.

With a proven coach like Reid he deserves a little slack. They've got a pretty good organization and they get it right more often then not, even though they haven't won a superbowl.

With Jerry after 15 years of shopping for the groceries, include head coaches in those groceries, you'd think he'd either figure out how to get it right or give it up, in favor of someone else, in hopes of winning something again before death.

I know on game day I get sick of seeing the same ole crap week in and week out, year in, year out by the Cowboys, penalties, turnovers, missed PAT's/FGs, finding a way to lose in general and can't even just execute simple things.

Over the last 15 years all the names and faces has changed and have been turned over many times but the one man's plastic face has remained thru it all.

Reid would have been ran out of town about year 4-5 since he lost in the NFC championship over and over again. He would have never survived in Dallas long enough to have unloaded McNabb to the deadskins

That pretty much sums it up. I saw fans hollering about firing Landry back when we never seem to get over the hump in post season and many called the team and Landry chokers. Well Reid teams have choked during the post season on every occasion and have yet to get over the hump

If Andy Reid was our coach, every buffet in town would be out of gravy, walrus type clothing would be in fashion and we wouldn't have any time outs left to challenge a crucial game changing play.

And you thought we had no run game in the first 7 weeks? Andy Reid carries a dictionary that has had the word run and any synonyms related to the word run removed. Only Michael is allowed to do that and he has to ask daddy Andy for permission first.

If that bratwurst-stuffed walrus were head of the Cowboys he wouldn't be nearly as successful becuase Jerry would still be the GM.
