Case in point. If Atlanta beats us this Sunday, I’m finished going to Cowboy games until Dak is no longer with this team and it will hit Jerry where it hurts the most. His pockets!! Yeah one person won’t cause any damage to his revenue but if other fans wake up and don’t attend change will be forced to happen!!
How will fans not attending games hurt his pocketbook? Ticket sales are done through Ticketmaster and from what I can see the season's already sold out and can only be sold on resale tickets. Even if you go weekly and are only buying resale, the ticket's already been sold and Jerry has the cash. If you choose to resell the tickets, Ticketmaster, Seatgeek, what have you will 100% resell those tickets to someone, likely to opposing teams fans
If Cowboys fans stop buying up tickets Dallas is a significant market and out of market tickets will make up the difference. Arizona and Tampa Bay made absolute killings on tickets during their down years hosting other teams fans that wanted to see their favorite teams win. Jerry also has made a marvel of making extra in tickets by selling out AT&T for concerts and other live events.
You can not go and show empty seats for something you've already paid for I guess, but that's an expensive way to protest.
Only way you can really hurt Jerry is to stop watching the games altogether, but you also need to convince the millions of non-Cowboys fans that tune into each game to do the same, and you'll have to convince them to do it for years on end before advertisers start to drop and Cowboys games start all appearing at noon. That's the only way to really "send a message" to Jerry and if you can figure out a way to do that and convince the fans of other teams to participate in a full on TV blackout that won't take a half a decade to really take hold, I'm all ears.
