If Parcells were still here, after every completion, first down, touch down and sack.................he would've stared down the "player" and told him not to get to "full of himself". With all the penalties tonight, two players entire careers would've been shot-out due to the condemnation and stare-downs they'd get all next week. They'd never recover from the guilt.
If Parcells were still here, "the player" would be miserable by now and fulfilling all the predictions of him being a team wrecker. Because Parcells wouldn't be able to live with "the player" and Romo being so happy. If someone is "happy" and "smiling", something must be wrong according to Parcells.
If Parcells were still around, Dallas would be 3-2 at best, possibly 2-3. Because he'd run the ball in spite of the run not working this game. Wouldn't matter. He would stubbornly insist that the running game MUST come before the passing game, even it it means losing the game. His philosophy is more important than actual wins and loss's.
If Parcells were still around, he'd of called Terrance Newman and Greg Ellis "she" by now, and thrown them both into the junk pile of players who ain't tough enough to play for him. Romo would be extremely hand-cuffed and controlled to the point of ZERO improvisation and play-making. The only time you'd EVER see MB3 would be on 3rd and goal from the one. And the press conference after this loss, instead of the CORRECT assessment given by Phillips (back to the drawing board, it's all good, we're fine, we'll work harder) would've been a scathing indictment on his teams "heart" and a devastating criticism of his teams character. Thereby setting forth the demise of a perfectly good time for no other reason than to be able to go into his office and stroke himself as to him being some sort of psycho-king over his minions.
