Do you trade one of Brown or Lewis. Neither are world beaters. However as experienced CB's on reasonable contracts, they should be attractive to CB needy teams. One of the rookies will likely be the 5th CB if both remain? You also have Canady, who while not as experienced as Brown or Lewis, still has NFL CB experience (75 rating allowed on 54 targets in 2019) as well ST capabilities

Lewis was a weird re-sign. He's one of those Joseph Randle spot-starter heroes who can look good on a few plays per game, but gets exposed the more you try to feature him. There's a place for him in the NFL as a dime back somewhere, but his contract says starting nickel and he's struggled at that repeatedly.

I'm OK with rolling with Diggs and Bossman as our outside CBs. Each has a coin flip chance they'll star or they'll bust, and I think a season like this is one where you just start them and see what they've got. Brown's a vet who's always been better in the nickel, and I would gladly start him there ahead of Lewis. Wright and Canady are fine depth options if a starter goes out.

You have to lower your expectations a bit for a 6th round pick. He's not spectacular but he's solid, which is starting material on a talent poor team like this
I just don’t see solid from him. He made a few easy picks but is constantly beat easily in coverage

there is not a Damn coin flip chance Diggs will be a bust.. you are out of your damn mind

You try to move Brown first.

A trade(or cut) of Brown with no cap returning frees up 4.25mil cap this year with only 1.5mil dead next year(but still a savings of 5mil on the 22 cap)

No, I think they keep both Lewis and Brown this season.

It is early yet and I could be wrong, but I think they keep 5 corners:

Diggs
Joseph
Lewis
Brown
Wright

Who stays at safety? Do we cut Canady for a safety and which one?

I think we're going to keep at least 5, but probably 6 because of ST and the fact that injuries happen.

IMHO at this point it's WAAAAYYYYY to early to be thinking we're deep enough to trade any of these guys. Diggs, Lewis and Brown are the starters. Jo and Na are promising rookies but are not ready to be NFL starters. Canady is an ok CB but worth keeping around because of his ST play. Goodwin is basically the same player and may lose the job to him if he doesn't get back on the field soon. But I see no way they keep both out of those 2. So after that decision is made that leaves 6, no way we can cut/trade 1 of the others away.

I don’t think we would have any trade partners. Maybe…maybe get a 7th round pick from a desperate team. None of the guys you mentioned have any trade value. Teams would prefer to just wait on them being cut. Plus we just signed Lewis to a new deal. The team has plans for him. He’s a guy who is versatile back there. Besides all the hype we’re hearing about the young guys in TC is very overrated. We really don’t know that much about what those new guys can do in real game action yet.
