I think he should start the Lions and bears games.
He deserves the opportunity for taking on the heavy lifting of the Eagles game that is definitely beyond a test of his skill set.

Very disappointing that DAk is not going to lead his team in this very important game.

Definitely a reason why no one was allowed to see him throw with his right hand Jerry didn't want people asking why he wasn't going to start when nothing looked the matter with him.

Dak hasn't been cleared to practice by the Cowboys medical staff. Throwing a few passes on the side doesn't mean he's ready to play in a game.

As McCarthy said, Dak needs to show he can put in a full week of practice before he plays. To do that he has to be cleared first. It's that simple.

If the dude is injured then it is just that. No reason to breakout the tinfoil hat thinking there is something in the works to hide Dak.

What does it mean to say "Cooper Rush beat the Eagles?"

Did Cooper Rush beat the Rams? The first 6 points came directly from the defense. The next 3 points came from special teams (the blocked punt): the offense did nothing with the field position. The next 7 points came from the run game, Pollard's 57-yarder. I can't think of a better example of a game that was a complete team effort.

After that, the Cowboys managed two FG drives and four punts. And none of the punt drives ate clock, either: they consumed a total of 7 minutes. Along the way, Rush fumbled twice but the Cowboys were lucky enough to recover both.

I'm thrilled with how Rush is performing as the backup, but the discussion around here just boggles my mind. If Dak had a game like that one, it would be held up as an example of how bad he is. Rush is exalted for it.

As I’ve been saying all along you stay with Rush until he loses. If we bench him during this winning streak and Dak returns and doesn’t play well resulting in the loss the fan base will be livid! Even if Dak were to play well if we lose fans will still blame him. We have some mojo going with Cooper Rush so we need to ride it out.

Please,

Tell us some more how you root for the Cowboys and whoever the QB is.

We believe you.

I responded to a comment "Cooper Rush won’t beat the Eagles. The Dallas Cowboys will." "but Dak would have LOL" My response was 7 0ut of 10 starts Dak has went out and helped beat the eagles and produced in majority of games. So the notion Dak can't make plays or help this team beat Philly sure he can he has done it many times before.

Did not comment on Rush, I do think in this game Rush will need to make some big plays if we expect to win. That may be stepping up on some critical 3rd downs, hitting Philly deep for a quick strike TD but I do know at some point within the game he will be called on to make the plays to help this team win.

If you start letting the fans determine who plays you've already lost. Play who you think gives you the best chance of winning. F what the fans think..
